2000归国计划在9楼.帮忙侃侃

哎,以后不要看水过的帖子了,参考价值太小~~
以致偶都以为很好过所以准备不足
偶小本转学
我们9.30的场结果等了接近3小时,,结果前面的oregeon MM在这一队的前一分钟被叫到6号(中年男),30秒剧,偶还安慰了她以下,一分钟后偶上,7号男;
Why do you go to USA?
Me: I want to learn physics there since ** Univ has several laboratories and can get double major degree~~(就是学校比现在的好,可以读双学位)
VO:沉默打电脑
Me:沉默,等待给我粉条(因为看到BJ这今天都是水过的帖)~~
about 6 seconds later
VO:Give me some english test certificate GRE or TOEFL.
Me:Here it is*(give him TOEFL test score)
VO:沉默了以下.把我的i-20塞给我,
我以为要过了
谁知:I am sorry~~~
passport out with 214b
~~sigh~~~
大家不要大意啦
现在想想很可能是我第一个问题没回答好,没说归国~~

所谓的水过大部分也是问了一两个问题才水过的
回答的头几个问题至关重要
至少你这一点就没有做好

回答vo的问题时一定要有针对性,先给出概括性结论(这个结论一定要好好斟酌,要非常convincing,当然还要简明),再具体阐述,这与中国人的迂回的思维模式是不同的.

还是好好准备2签吧！
至少在面试问题上好好准备一下！

Why do you want to study in USA?

Compared with China’s undergraduate education in physics, USA put more emphasis on the development of personal practical ability. I want to improve my experimental ability and learn how to train students’ practical ability systematically. (You know, it is the weakness of most Chinese students and China tries to change this with the promote of quality-oriented education.) (BSU has a Teaching Minor in physics) After the two years’ study in BSU, I will be very competitive in the job market in Weihai, my girlfriend hometown. (Few people have the experience of studying abroad in Shandong Province.) It will be easy for me to get a job as a bilingual teaching talent in a college in Weihai since the need of such teachers grows rapidly these years. I made a list of all universities I intend to go two years later. Would you like to see it?

Why do you choose this Univ.?
I know BSU from one of my friends studying in this university. She recommends for me greatly. The learning environment is so good, smaller class size and a wide range of laboratory experiences is provided. Moreover, BSU was once a normal university so it has good education majors and minors. I can learn advanced experiments teaching methods and put it into practice when I am come back to Weihai.

Why are you going to study physics?

Because I love physics. It helps me develop advanced critical-thinking and problem-solving skills that are valuable in any profession.:rolleyes: 这个改成are valuable for my future development 是不是更好

Will you stay in US? Give me three reasons that you will come back to China?

Of course not, I will come back after I finish my study in the US.
First, I come from a traditional Chinese family, I have the same hometown as Chinese famous philosopher Confucius. All of my kinship is in China.(我们家兄弟姐妹4个,不知道是不是上次看到这个要锯我) Immersing in the traditional Chinese culture for a so long time, I am inseparable from the Chinese lifestyle and specially the wonderful Chinese cuisine.

Second, what I will learn at USA is highly and urgently need to China, I mean the advanced teaching methods(such as how to improve students’ practical ability systematically). The learning experience in American will give me unique advantages to achieve great success in teaching career in China. But if I stay in US, these would not be advantages and I won’t be that competitive in job market.

Third, and most importantly, I will get married with my girlfriend after I come back in 2009. We have fallen in love for nearly three years. I am a responsible person. So I believe the education I will get in USA will help me find a good job, and thus I will make myself capable to give her a decent life. Then we will live happily together in her hometown- Weihai, the most beautiful city in Shandong.

Why don’t you study in China?

After the two years my educational background will be characterized by a perfect combination of Chinese and western education. I will develop a more balanced way of looking at things and enriching my teaching experience. I believe that I will do great contribute to my future career when I come back to China.

Moreover, many universities and high schools in China are in urgent need of physics teachers who are specialized in experiments and can do the bilingual teaching. My two years’ experience in BSU and what I learnt will definitely make me competitive in the job market.

仔细看了好几遍签证经过。

个人认为：对于转学的学生，一定要充分的说明去美国读这个program的必要性。因为其实转学已经是改变最初的学习计划了。是否到了美国仍旧会改变学习计划呢？

以前的帖子里说过，签证的审核过程其实是从申请人提供的信息来总结申请人的形象是否符合要求。从这个签经目前只了解说了什么。还有几个细节也有可能是VO考察过的。比如DS表里体现了什么？之前的专业和学校？

不过很多时候VO的主观因素也有可能拒签。
但无论如何，有几点是绝对正确的。
1 对于面试，按照签证官的标准主动树立自己的形象，并使这个形象符合非移民签证的要求
2 对于N签，无需过多解释之前的问题，而是要重新树立个人形象。
3 注意背景和未来的联系。矛盾、转折过大、未来计划没有推理性都会被认为申请人对于未来没有明确的计划。

最后严重认可你对水过的认识。签证就像小马过河，有的说水深，有的说水浅，总要自己根据自己的情况去体会。

Visa is NOT a destiny, but a process only.

偶想好了转学原因：原来也是学物理，过去还是（不过打算多读个物理教育）

I will be very competitive at that time since the need of physics teachers who are specilized in experiments and can do bilingual teaching grows.
