VO: 大glassboy（9#VO）

VO: so you will major in Pharmacology?
ME: No. Pharmaceutics. They are two different areas. Pharmacology belongs to M

edical School,but Pharmacy has a seperate school-School of Pharmacy.
（一上来就把我想成巨敏感的pharmacology，sigh，连很多生物系的学生都分不清这两个

专业）
VO: you are from ustc?
ME: Yeah,a five-year student.
VO: Bachelor of Science or Arts?
ME: Bachelor of Science
VO: give me your resume
ME: Here you are.
VO: your thesis.
ME: would you like the abstract or full thesis?
VO: both
VO: then you are in plant molecular genetics research?
ME: Yeah,major technology is of molecular biology.
VO: Is this thesis all your research trainings?
ME: I emphasized on this project,but you know,we should have many basic experi

ment training in our undergraduate study.（后悔了，不该多嘴）
VO: What experimental training?
ME: Most are basic molecular biology. Such as two-dimensional electrophoresis,

plasmid construction etc.
VO: Do you have advisor?
ME: No. We should do rotations. But I take the webpage of a faculty I am inter

ested.Here you are.（可能就栽在这里了，网页的连接我没打印，因为根本连不上，我那

个division的所有教授介绍都是做了publications的连接去连不上）
VO: Why no these linking pages?
ME: That's also a problem for me. I think their website is still under constru

ction.But you could find his research interests in the above of that page. He

is the director of Natural Products Lab.
VO: What's your proposed research?
ME: Drug discovery and development from traditional chinese herbs.（本来想这样

和归国计划联系的比较紧，后来发现上海的VO基本不care归国问题，被打断）
VO: you study focuses on plant molecular genetics,but your future major is Pha

rmaceutics.Why?
ME: You know,chinese herbs are mostly plants and knowledge and technologies in

plant science will support pharmaceutical research in herbs screening and iso

lation.
VO: We will issue your visa,but have to scutinize your materials. You are chec

ked.
ME: Could you give a detailed reason?
VO: I am not sure the research you have done and your future research. It will

take 4-6 weeks before we call you.
ME: OK. I prefer you contact me at E-Mail（手机丢了，：（）.Thank you anyway.B

VO: Byebye.

感觉大glassboy还是比较和蔼，始终面带笑容，自己表现不如人意。等到快1点才叫到我的

号（191），累、饿、冷，只想速战速决，宁愿早点被check也不想等了。准备的research

也没怎么用上，很多是临场发挥，只是觉得很累，想快点签完回去。
