题目：ISSUE13 - "Many of the world's lesser-known languages are being lost as fewer and fewer people speak them. The governments of countries in which these languages are spoken should act to prevent such languages from becoming extinct."

If you are lucky to travel around the world, you will find an interesting phenomena that is different place have different language. Maybe you need a translator to help you to communicate with the local people. This reminds me a story recorded in the Old Testament. Once men of a city (now thought to be Babylon) in Shinar tried to reach heaven by building a tower. Then God made the builders speak different languages preventing the tower constructing. That’s the reasons why there are so many languages in the world.

Admittedly, with the fast developing of the society, people are willing to speak some official language like Putonghua in China or international language like English. As a result, more and more languages have become extinct recently. What I mean is not to call on we all reject official or international language, but just hope the various languages created can be maintained forever.

Language is an integral part of culture .It is a way of the dissemination of the culture. Here is a example. Recently, the Korean opera has been popular with Chinese youngsters. You must remember the opera named DaChangJin. Just because of this, we learned a lot about the history of Korean and some spirits of the race. Now we are still encouraged by the backbone of the little girl in facing adversities. From then on, more and more people are willing to learn Korean and pay attention to Korean culture.

In addition, language is the symbol of a race. Dongbeihua, a Chinese dialect which takes root in the northeast of china, have been known to all Chinese people. Largely this is the contribution of an artist called Zhaobenshan. He insisted performing in dialect and considered Dongbeihua is worthy to be made widespread as the symbol of northeasterner. Now, the northeast of china attracts more people going there for touring and people like northeasterner more.

Now we can see, language has been incorporated in the national culture and daily life of people. Not only should the relevant government preserve the world’s lesser-known languages that are facing extinction, but also every one of us should begin to shoulder more of the burden of work.
