Most advertisements make the products seems much better than what it really is，agree or disagree.
The issue of whether most advertisements make the products seem much better than what it really is arouses much controversy among people with different perspectives and backgrounds. Some claim that advertisements usually exaggerate the functions of products. Others seem to oppose the opinion. As far as I am concerned, I would like to support the former. In the following paragraphs, I will provide a few reasons to substantiate my point of view.

In the first place, the main purpose of advertisements is to make the products well-known and popular among citizens. Driven by this goal, companies who design advertisements certainly tend to emphasize the advantages of the products and neglect their demerits. Once I bought a bicycle due to the fascinating advertisement which indicate the gorgeous appearance and low cost. However, after two months, the painting faded. Therefore, advertisements indeed make the products seem to be attracting.

Another point worth mentioning is that the visual and acoustic effects often make consumers forget what the products were really about and buy product impetuously. With the booming of new technologies and science, it is not so difficult for designers to create beautiful scenes to daze customers. All too often, customers lost themselves in these scenes. As a result, they buy it because they believe that owning the product will make them look handsome among neighborhood.

Although advertisements make consumers purchase products which often turn out to be not so satisfactory, they surely give citizens more informed about certain products. So people can compare with others and decide what to buy.

Given the reasons discussed above, which sometimes intertwine to make an organic whole and thus make it more persuasive, we can safely reach the conclusion that we cannot always comment specific products merely according to advertisements, which may misguide us!
