Currently, the education of individuals of various ages results in a variety of frequent topics. One topic among them is whether human beings are now easier to be educated than in the past. On this particular issue, some argue that it is undoubtedly easier for today’s people to be cultivated, while others maintain the opposite standpoint. As far as I am concerned, I believe in the former opinion.

Basically, today’s people are more self-motivated to learn various kinds of knowledge in order to be succeed in their professions; as a result they can always cultivate themselves better. It is the extensive pressure on each individual from jobs, lives, and so on that motivates each person, especially each youngster to work harder than ever before. This kind of motivation can be regarded as the most effective learning methodology. For example, 10 years ago in China, ones could find pretty decent jobs just after graduation from high schools and felt the courses were extremely complex for them to learn, so most youngsters decided not to enter universities. However, these days only graduates can be provided some relatively well-paid positions; therefore the majority of young university students is willing to go on to graduate study and can gain graduate degrees successfully. Motivations are the best teachers.

In addition, the development of technology renders education easier and more effective undoubtedly. Compared with the education in the past, today the advance in technology brings a variety of improment of education, which are of assistance to everyone. Among those changes, the use of Internet in the education possesses the most significant and positive impact on the world. Nowadays people are available to various kinds of education resources, such as learning videos, discussion forums, and so on, anytime and anywhere. For example, when I was a child, only books were available to me out classroom, and only one or two pupils in each class could gain 100 scores in the final exams. But now, these young learners can watch the teaching videos of the best well-known teachers again and again even at home, which results in that most students in the class can gain 100 scores in the final exams.

What’s more, another reason I maintain that now people can be better educated is the development of the education methodology. To begin with, nowadays more and more educational and training institutes are constructed. Each one can purchase specialized guide and instruction in each field. For example, if you wanted to test TOEFL, many institutes can help you to make the study plan, tell you testing skills, assist you to practice. Due to these professional assistances, one can easily gain satisfactory score in the test. Besides, researchers and educators can tell us the most effective study methods, such as how to rot English words, how to manage our time, and so on. It is the changes in these two areas that make education easier than before.

In conclusion, based on the discussion above, I maintain that it is undoubtedly easier for today’s people to be cultivated well.
