The lectures talks about the altruistic acts of humans and other mammals.

To begin with, the professor (says) said that the altruistic sentinel in groups of meerkats gains something when it benefits others, while the passage claims that the sentinel gains nothing. In terms of the eating hobbies, a sentinel has a full stomach before it stands guard. Moreover, the sentinel can run firstly because it can escape immediately after it creates an alarm. In contrast to the sentinel, the others that hunt for food are in great danger. And after receiving the alarm, animals to flee in group are more likely to draw the attention of the predator which decreases the possibility to survive. These directly contradict what the passage indicates.

Furthermore, the professor also states that humans performing altruistic acts receive some rewards while the passage argues that they receive little rewards. When people help relatives or even strangers, they will receive appreciation from strangers and the society. Such non-material rewards are valuable to some people. This is another part the professor casts doubt on the passage. (我觉得写得还好，从语言上看不出什么毛病，但是觉得结构有点乱)

Nowadays, people hope to live a happy life and (to去除） earn a lot of money in the same time. But sometimes a job with high salary （may去除前面有sometimes,就表示是一种情况了） mean pressure, being tired, competition, and so on. What is more important, being happy of a job or high salary? I think the answer depends on people’s financial condition.

The job with high salary is important for people who have awful financial condition. In modern society, people have to spend money on houses, food, clothes, and so on. As we all know, the cost of a house in metropolis city such as Beijing, in China, is so high that (the money) many workers earnings of their entire lives are not enough to buy a small house. Moreover, children also spend a lot of money, especially after they enter (into) school. In America, the average money as the tuition for a student needs (every year in average) is about twenty to forty thousand dollars per year. So many people have to work hard to earn money. (and) in this condition, it is necessary for them to find a job with high salary. Especially, for the young who just graduate from (the) college, if they would not like to depend on their parents, they will have no money to buy houses(, to buy)and cars (and they would not like to depend on parents.) Under such circumstances, it is more important for the youth to find a (high-salary job.) job with high salary.

In the other hand, it is more important for people whose financial condition is good, to be happy when they work. These people (need not) don't need to worry about the cost of houses, cars, and the education of their children because they can afford (it) them. And what they seek during the work. is the pleasure. They can be engaged in the jobs that they are interested in, without (regardless of) consider about the pay. Just like some volunteers, who help others without rewards. Nowadays, in China, (there are) many graduates who choose to work as (a) teachers in the western (areas) of China. The economic of these areas develops slowly and many children (have to) can't afford (the) tuition. The young feel happy when they teach the children because the students can learn more knowledge and have a understanding about the country even about the world. (这句话因果关系不对)

In the end, the answer to the question （that）of what is more important in a job, being happy of a job or high salary, that relies on  people's (the) financial situation (of people). People (can) should choose jobs in terms of their needs.
