Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.: 201400064) (from as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a B.Sc./B.A. degree or an M.Phil. degree in Chemical Biology, or a related molecular biology, biochemistry/biomedical discipline. Experience in molecular biology, cell biology and biochemistry techniques is required. Additional experience in protein purification, high-throughput drug screening or live cell imaging would be an advantage. They should be highly motivated and able to work independently as well as work as a team player. The appointee will be responsible for drug discovery research, daily lab maintenance and any other clerical duties.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
