1. where is Intermediate Micro, and econometrics? any plan to have more adv. math stat course?
2. what major / department is the "港科大修联合培养的硕士"?
3. Master then work OR master then PhD?
4. Field? just stating economics / finance / management is definitly far from enough as the career plan afterwards differs a lot. I really mean a lot.
1. If you are planing to apply for an academic master, why even list "实习的boss" as a choice for reference letter?
2. If you are planning to apply for an academic master or PhD, why do you only concern about intern in the financial / private sector, instead of finding a RA or eqv.?
3. GRE, I guess 168+ for Q, 3.5+for AWA, and 150+ for V.
4. if economics, UK, LSE, Oxford, UCL, Warwick, Cambridge, (Edinburgh, Nottingham, Durham and etc...) Thanks for your words, here are few notes for your reference:
1. Intermediate Micro, Ecometrics& Advanced Math to be taken in junior year;
2. MSc Global China Studies in Department of social science at HKUST, an interdisciplinary program covering economics,political science and sociology of contemporary China.
3. "Master then work(back home in China)" strongly preferred, but may possibly continue for PHD.
4.Economics major preferred, and some interdisciplinary courses like Financial Econ, Econ& Biz strategy but not pure Finance will be considered as well.
5. Taught Graduate(in the UK) and Professional Graduate(in the U.S) are preferred, but Academic Graduate programs in the U.S will also be considered in case there are no suitable Professional Grad Programs.
I will appriecate it if you would like to add some ideas for that, especially for the U.S part.
Thanks buddy. |
