写的太好，连谚语的用上了，比我好太多了，我反正是看不出什么问题，整篇文章没有什么要改，而且感觉楼主口语应该很强大的说，就有一个地方let along challenging ourselves to come over some tough experience. 这句有点看不懂，也不知道怎么改，其他都很好

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement: it's more important for the
government to build new housing than preserve old and historic building. Use specific
reasons and examples to support your answer.


To discuss the importance between building new houses and preserving old and historic building, I think we should take all aspects into consideration, which means we should think about their both advantages and disadvantages. And in my opinion, there are both necessary for the increasing development of the society.

At the first place, the effect of old and historic building should be overlooked by us. As we know, they are medium that stand for the thought and spirit of our ancients, so we can learn a lot from visiting these building and share the spirit of our culture. This is quite important for educating our children, let them know our past, and think over our future. Besides among these buildings there are a large number of them have dramatic artist value, which can be wonderful materials for students to study and explore in their major. In a word, I don’t think it is something to proud if one city only has many tall modern buildings, on the contrary, it is something to be sad.

However, it won’t improve if the government only does preserve the old building for a country’s, or city’s further development. New houses not only represent the beautiful appearance, but also stand for the spirit of the modern life. We should take in this passion and be more confidence to do our work. For the new buildings, I like to look them as one kind of show which is about the technology and the modern life, and we can join them and enjoy them. In addition, the new buildings create more comfortable working and living environment for us, which can make us feel good about ourselves, having more personal spaces, owning more convenient furnitures and so forth.

To sum up, there are both important for the development of our society, so when we figure out the practical measures to build a better world we should build new buildings and preserve historic building at the same time.
