USC老师邮件里提到一句话“we have a very good pool this year"，这是什么意思呢？
之前她已经说了，今年录取的学生都会有一个good financial aid package.

Sile, 看了这段，尤其这句We have a very good pool this year and every faculty member will vote，后半句，我确定我第一个回答更可能是对的。他们是说今年申请的人都比较优秀。记得以前在论坛上看到过这个词组的have a good pool，刚才没有google出来，但是我有点印象。呵呵，不过这位老师已经对你说会pay special attention 了，不要太紧张了。

也可能是人nice而已...总之老板说了一大堆，其实中心思想是想让你知道今年申请难度很大。这么说的话，还是希望你能做好心理准备。当然，bless all the best!
