10.2 to solve the problems present and future, is it necessary to understand the past？
提纲：
-admittedly, some problems are new for us, and we can only use creative ways
-however, most things could consider the experience.
experience will avoid possible problems. e.g. parents use their experience to teach us.
-help us improve ourselves, even do the same thing, maybe we can have better ways. 正文：
Understanding the past could benefit us a lot. The merits are obvious, because it could give us precious experiences and improve ourselves.
Admittedly, with the development of science and technology, some problems are new for us, thus could not be easily solved by just considering the past experiences. When scientists were creating spacecraft, they had to deal with many difficulties which were never meet in the past, so they had to do trials to solve the problems. However, in most common conditions, knowing the past could teach us a lot of things.
On one hand, things that happened in the past could teach us how to avoid or deal with possible difficulties. When a person already experienced various problems and finally went through a new stage, he has a broader insight. For example, parents would use their experiences to teach their children, help them make significant decisions and educate them to be good people. For instance, if an adolescent was dumped by his girlfriend, he must feel frustrated and need some help. At that time, his parents would encourage him and tell him how to go over the hard time. With the parents' help, the child could get better quickly.
On the other hand, the past stories could provide us with many useful ideas to improve themselves. Since the past situations would appear in the future, people could use similar ways to solve problems. Or, if they found what they did in the past was not a good way, they could get improved when they meet the same difficulty in the future. For instance, I usually did not well in my final exams when I was in high school. The reasons are that I feared to ask teachers questions and sometimes cannot concentrate on the lectures. When I went to the college, I told myself that I must come over those drawbacks. I work hard in the school and change those bad habits. Not surprise, I received high grades in every semester. Therefore, when you face the same problem in the future, you could consider the old ways or new ways to solve it.
To sum up, I believe that it is necessary to understand the past in order to solve problems present and future. 第一次写这种不是二选一类型的题。开头和结尾不会写了~ 历史类的我找不到例子。只好瞎编自己的例子了。 辛苦啦~
