In recent years, as the development of science and technology, many new inventions have appeared in people's life. We can use machines do most of things instead using our own hands. There is a general controversy over the issue whether people will spend less time in cooking and preparing food in 20 years later. Personally, I agree with that people actually will spend less time in doing everything, include cooking and preparing food, and I will provide concrete evidences to demonstrate my point of view.


First and foremost, people prepared food need three steps, first of all, buy materials, second, use knife to cut the materials, finally, cook them. No matter which steps, people can easily do it with those new inventions. For instance, people use coal to cook food in the past, latter they use natural gas, after that they use induction cooker, the time people spend on cooking has become shorter and shorter, and it is obviously that people will use more advanced machines to cook food in the future, this may help them save more time on cooking.


In the second place, the pressures from work and study don't allow people use to much time on cooking. Most of the people should use more time to work harder, only in this way could not they be fired. The fast development of the technology brings much convenience for people on one hand, but on the other hand it makes people busier and busier than in the past. On top of this, the time for cooking may be cut much in the future.


Last but not least, there are many tonics in today’s world, a lot of people eat them instead meals. This make people feel don't hungry at the meal time. For this, people eat less than in the past. On this aspect, people will spend less time in cooking in the future may become a true phenomenon.


To sum up, there are many complications that make people use less time in cooking and preparing food in 20 years later, However, I don't think it is a good phenomena. Whenever we live we should pay more attention on our health, use more time to cook is very important.
