2：错误与成功相比更容易记起我们的求胜追求的心里，而成功容易让人停滞不前。
3：但是失败本身并不好，关键是人们在失败后总结经验教训，继续顽强的前进，以及在失败后重现站起来形成的顽强不屈的精神与品质。这些才是通向更多的成功与突破的必不可少的宝贵经验。
During the history of human, mistakes have always been our accompaniments. Admittedly, we all feel great agony and frustration when facing such falsities in our experiments, researches and study. But, when we succeed afterward and take a look back at our forestall mistakes, it is not difficult to find that we learnt a lot from these hatred errors, we almost can say that to some extend it is these mistakes that lead us better to find our right way. Although it is too dogmatical to say that only through mistakes can there be discovery or progress, we may assert that mistakes play an important role while our struggling for truth.

Mistakes can bring us advancements and discoveries, for they help us exclude a wrong possibility, urge us to launch on the problem from a new angle, so that breakthrough and success can be achieved. For physics or chemistry, experiments play a vital role, and from students to scientific researchers, they all go through varies of mistakes in the experiments no matter during their study or researches. Obviously it is these mistakes that realize them to check what goes wrong in the process and turn to a new direction in time. Edison failed almost 2,000 times before finding the appropriate material for making the filament, after the success, he claimed that every failure during his experiment was an important piece of information, for they may help him eliminate one mistaken way and get him closer to success. Mistakes indicate nothing but that the present way you choose is incorrect, you need to change your direction right away after generalizing from your forestall mistakes. Never blame on the mistakes you once have made because they are just some of your choices and endeavors, unless you have not yet given up, you still have more choices and possibly can try better.

In addition, compared with success, mistakes can better activate us to find the truth while success can easily bring us to a logjam since we are too prone to be lazy. For example, we all have such kind of idea that while we are still in the state of trying, we treat mistakes as our hatred enemy, once they existed, we want to do what we can to diminish them and find the final truth, and rightly that is just what inspires us to struggle for advancement. What is more, since the process is so full of difficulties, we will not so easily drop the achievement we have got and will do more research on our subject so that larger success can be made. Nevertheless, once we are tripped in success, especially when the process is too simple, hardly can we have any interest to deeper study it or move on for more achievements, since our humanistic nature has decided that we are too easily lost in applause and eulogy.

But never leave a false impression that mistake is perfect for our life and work, because it is a common sense that mistakes can not automatically show us discoveries or progress. Then it is natural for us to question what is the value of a mistake, or what can they do during our effort for discovery and progress?

In my view, what we generalize from the mistakes is what we really need, i.e. to amend the weak points we have after digging out the mistake, keep striving and never give up even if we failed 1,000 more times, and nurture us to be persistent and optimistic. These good habits and spirits are quite necessary when we run after success. No one would like to stick on just one achievement, and it is clear that once we want to make varies of fruitions in our life; we are in demand of equipping with these necessary characteristics. With summarizing the mistakes and amend our weak points, we can abstain from doing invalid efforts, and with persistence and optimism, we are not so easily defeated and able to struggle over and over.

In sum, mistake is helpful in exploring discovery and making progress, but these accomplishments can only be got through hard work, inspiration, valid exploration and effective facilities. Take a just look on the mistakes and make good use of them, you may find that they will do you a large favor.
