ISSUE13
Many of the world's lesser-known languages are being lost as fewer and fewer people speak them. The governments of countries in which these languages are spoken should act to prevent such languages from becoming extinct.

how many different languages exist on the earth? To tell the exact numbers is next to impossible, since many lesser-known languages may have become extinct when the sticst finished. But why?
languages ,as probroly the most significant symbol of an ethnic group, are more than a tool for communicating . it enhances the sentiments of belonging to an individual group . yet the demand of earning a living always comes first. When using other languages can make a better living, people will do it though difficult. While, should the government take measures to prevent this from happening more frequently? Maybe the government should care about people’s stomach first. When local residents can live a satisfied life without considering the plan of studying a new language, perhaps the lesser-knower language will survive.

Things vary a lot for different governments. Roughly it can be divided into two situations: one is a well-developed country with languages facing extinct, another is a less-developed one with many struggling for next meal.

The well-developed one should take acts to protect the languages becoming extinct. However, the latter one should focus on the solution of people’s basic living first. The progress of info technology and enoumerous economic acting have been connecting almost every corner of the world together , and ways of different life are influencing each other. No country can stand alone without economic and information exchange towards and from another one. Every country should actively take the chanellge.

Citizens where less-knower languages are losing have the freedom to choose which language to use, while their government they voted for is responsible to improving people’s living. With a limited financial power, protecting the endangering language must not be done at the expense of citizen’s life, education, medicine treat. The pattern that economic behavior has fundamental impacts on other social aspects should be remembered clearly by the government. Of course many languages will lose as a huge cost all human beings pay for, but that’s how the society works.

In other terms, things may not be so bad and frustrating. when more and more ties are built between different countries and ethnic, different languages can find more listeners, the culture the represents can draw on more attention than before, thus less-knower language itself receive new fresh air ,helping spread the influence more far away.

The disappearing languages is a solid fact and meanwhile a big problem confronts the government. But the measures to be taken depend on individual circumstance. The fact such language being used by less and less people is a picture of decline of the culture it belongs to. Government chosen by people should show respect to the will of its citizens, if some languages must be saved from being extinct, the people who speak them must be care about firstly. Only by improving people’s living condition can the languages be spoken again.

(单复数是不是有问题?), are more than a tool for communicating . it enhances the sentiments of belonging to an individual group . yet the demand of earning a living always comes first. When using other languages can make a better living, people will do it though difficult.using other languages to make a living? 这个好像跳得太快了,一下子没有办法想到与earn money有关,前面可以交代一两句吧?)(人们可以用其它语言来谋生,然后呢?很多语言就渐渐消失了~一下子就跳到government了。突然 While, should the government take measures to prevent this from happening more frequently(?更快?更频繁?)? Maybe the government should care about people’s stomach first. When local residents can live a satisfied life without considering the plan of studying a new language, perhaps the lesser-knower language will survive.(这个好像有点逻辑错误了。人们是为了生计学习的另一种语言?没有代表就把自己的语言抛弃了。还有,好像学习新的语言仅仅是为了填饱肚子——有待商榷。)
Things vary a lot for different governments. Roughly it can be divided into two situations: one is a well-developed country with languages facing extinct, another is a less-developed one with many struggling(这个有误) for next meal(好中式的表达!).
The well-developed one should take acts to protect the languages becoming extinct.

Citizens
where
(?) less-knower languages are losing have the freedom to choose which language to use, while their government they voted for is responsible tofor improving people’s living. With a limited financial power, protecting the endangering language must not (今天第二次看到must的否定用法。我怀疑了,这不是禁止的意思吗?)be done at the expense of citizen’s life, education, medicine treat. [medical treatment] The pattern that economic behavior has fundamental impacts on other social aspects should be remembered clearly by the government. Of course many languages will lose as a huge cost all human beings pay for, but that’s how the society works.

The disappearing

(!!)a solid fact and meanwhile a big problem confronts the government. But the measures to be taken depend on individual circumstance. The fact suchthat language being used by less and less people is a picture of decline of the culture it belongs to. Government chosen by people should show respect to the will of its citizens, if some languages must(这个情态动词用得不是很好) be saved from being extinct, the people who speak them must be care about firstly. Only by improving people’s living condition can the languages be spoken again.
