Playing computer games is a waste of time for children. Do you agree or disagree?



Recently a debate has been brought into focus about whether playing computer games rob too much time from children.In reality,computers nowadays gain a wide range of availability and the performance becomes much stronger ,which,directly lies in the rapid development of computer games.their images turn more vividly and so increasing numbers of people,especially the children,who own much more leisure time,are immerse in them.As a matter of fact,they do cost too much time.



First,compared with the children who are addicted to computer games,ones who are not obtain the opportunity to concentrate more on their major work.Obviously,everyone possesses only twenty four hours a day,assuming one spends two hours a day on computer games,which sounds not so severe.However,it adds up to sixty hours per month,and seven hundred and thirty hours per year!now,doesn't that sound severe?how much work will we accomplish if the wasted time is well exploited.



Secondly,without the computer games,one would enhance efficiency in his or her work or study.Take myself as an instance.I used to play an online game called<<legend>> really prevailing at that time.Hence hardly could I centralize my observation on what my teacher was arguing in the class.Instead,images of the warriors brandishing a sword kept hovering in my mind.As days went through,my teacher found out the problem and went to my mother to ask me not to play the games anymore, and so I compromised,which actually led my academic performance to recovery.This is not rare in our daily life.Enormous Children become crazy about the games and inattentive to their study or work due to the computer games.



Admittedly,computer games have their own merits.For example,one is able to relieve his or her pressure from heavy schooling load.Nevertheless,too often doesn't a child have the capability to prevent himself from indulge.So for the most part,playing computer games is merely a waste of time!



To sum it up,from the two main reasons stated above,it has not been more visible that computer games are rather time-consumers.
