The project title is 'Experimental and Theoretical Studies of Vanadium Oxide Nanostructures and Their Functional Properties' .
This project focuses on Synthesis of Nanoparticles, Self-assembly of nanospheres, nanorods and other nanostructures, and the property measurements like optical, electronic, gas sensing, catalytic properties.
The scholarship is A$26,000/year and top-up to another ~A$6,000, details depend on different individuals.
The eligibility of candidate is as listed below:
1) Research background is chemistry, biochemistry, or materials;
2) Who has got Master degree or is going to get before July, 2010, or the current PhD students who have read 1 year and want to give it up for a new one at University of New South Wales, Australia;
3) Pass IELTS test (6-6-6-6 or higher) or TOEFL;
4) Excellent academic scores in undergraduate study.
