A third fossil formation containing both soft-bodied and hard-bodied animals provides evidence of the result of the Cambrian explosion. 从段落逻辑演进的顺序来看，原文第一句为本段main idea，第二句陈述第一种reaction，第三句陈述第二种reaction，第四句陈述第一种farmer对第二种farmer的看法，也就是两种reaction的对立。只有讲完这两种reaction的相互关系以后，才能描述一个假设的让步。

另外一个线索，黑体句后半句还有个delay。delay作为表示变化趋势的词，必须先把变化的对象讲一次，也就是说 depletion的描述应该先出现。 原文对depletion的描述在C前面，drawing down。

修辞目的题如果问例子的说明目的是什么，答案应该是例子的抽象概括，而不是例子本身。

细节出处的 Burgess Shale animal 就等于Sidneyia啊，按照B的逻辑，那就是例子为了说明例子自己？明显不对。


修辞目的题考例证关系大多数情况下答案不应该在例子所在句子找，而应该在例子之前。所以答案不是你标出的红色字体，而且你这样的理解是断章取义。答案应该是 他的上一句 The Burgess Shale formation also has fossils of many extinct representatives of modern animal groups.和C中的an extinct member of a currently existing category of animals 刚好是对应。
