I59: Too much emphasis is placed on role models. Instead of coping others, people should learn to think and act independently and thus make the choices that are best for them.

Nowadays, when placing much emphasis on role models, many people would lose their own minds, and follow what some models do. From my perspective, I concur with that people should learn to think and act independently, and make the most suitable choices for them. At the same time, people also need to learn from models.

At the beginning, the modern society requires people think and act independently. On one hand, thinking by oneself can help culture one's own view of the life and the world. For example, when asked why you like to travel around the world, what is the answer you will make? Some people may say that they want to travel abroad because other people just do it. While others think that they enjoy the various cultures, beautiful views, and sundry and they can learn a lot from journeys. Through travelling in different countries, they can better know the world as a whole and how to live a life, not for money, but for the value a person exists. On the other hand, due to the fast development of the society, people do not have enough time to help one figure out some primary problems since they can be solved by books or Internet. For instance, if one want to know who is Barack Obama, not ask, just search in Wikipedia which would tell him or her specific information. And if one ask such easy questions to others, it will bring trouble to others since everyone has own plan on schedule. Therefore, people should think independently and finish whatever they can do by themselves.

Besides, making a suitable choice is useful to one's development. Some people hold the opinion that the disadvantage will limit a person's development. I agree with that, and believe since disadvantage would regulate the developing, why not develop oneself on the basis of the advantage? According to strong points, some people may be suitable for research, some may fit for politics, others may like engaging in business. If one can make use of the advantages, then he or she would also success in his or her own field. For example, Gao Kun, who gained Nobel Prize in physics in 2009, was once considered to be too ordinary to make a success. But he made a right choice of research which leads him to become a Nobel Prize Winner. In a word, people should make a proper choice.

Last but not least, models can provide us experience no matter it is positive or negative. A positive model can set a good example to people which can encourage people to develop. Every Nobel Prize winner set an example to researchers, and stimulates researchers to go forward to explore the unknown world. While a negative model can prevent people from drama, such as Hitler, the leader of the Nazi Germany, who would always remind people of loving peace.

Based on what have discussed above, I believe that what people should learn is not only becoming independently, but also the experience or lessons from models. With both of the aspects, people would develop better.

According to the experience and common sense, both of them have their own advantages. More importantly, the best way for us is to think and act independently on the basis of simulating epitomes.

In the first place, no one can deny the fact that thinking and acting independently is crucial for the development of individuals and the society as a whole. On the on hand(On one hand), because it is ourselves who know the situation of ourselves best, thinking and acting according to our own situations do bring about some solutions that are most suitable to us. A professor in my college once said "only you can help yourselves, never expect that others can help you solve the problems. Even though they help you in some situations, you would meet some other problems in the future." In other words, only by ourselves can we really solve our problems and make progress in the future（这句话感觉跟上一句重复啊，最好换个解释方式或句子）. On the other hand, thinking and acting independently can produce some innovations and inventions that are superior to others, which can help individuals, companies or even nations be ahead of others. We can take the United States as an example to illustrate this point. It is the individual and creative thinking and acting that makes it the greatest county in the world no matter in the scientific realm or in the art realm. In short, thinking and acting individually can make some proper and new means to keep one ahead of others.

In the second place, in some situations it is necessary to pay some attention to simulating role models. However, we should also keep in mind that undue coping(copying) is not appropriate. In one aspect, it is obvious that use(using) the method getting from others can help us save much time and pave the way for the development of ourselves and our society. When it comes to individuals, by using the method abstractd(abstracted) by others for studying a subject, it is easier and quicker for us to master this subject. When we discuss the situation of a society, China is an apt example to explain this point. With coping(copying) the successful ways of the western economic, it has become the third largest economical body of the world. However, we should also keep in mind that undue simulating will affect our ability of creation. Just as the tree cannot live without the sunlight, if we only rely on others and cannot think by ourselves, our destiny would ultimately be controlled by others. From this point of view, though learning from others have(has) some benefits to our development, we should use this approach appropriately.
在有些情形下，关注典型也很有必要。但是过分强调就不合适了。

In the finally analysis, I think the best way is to think and act individually on the basis of learning and absorbing the essence of the role models. Only with simulating, you can never run in front of others, while only thinking and acting independently you might spend more time than learning from others. Only after you finding the good aspects of the role models and use them flexibly according to your own situation can you ultimately make greater achievement with less time.

To sum up, both doing things on one’s own and coping(copying) the method of models have merits in helping people or the society as a whole develop further more. We should make good use of them and find a way that is proper for ourselves regarding to our own situations.

第一，读完你的这段我不知道你的disadvantages和advantages跟别指什么？第二，题目的意思是通过自己的思考可以制定一个最适合自己的choice。你在这里论述的是制定合适的choice有利于自身的发展，我觉得还是得仔细考虑下。还有就是分析下你的这段的结构，制定合适的选择有利于个人发展=>怎么样制定合适的选择（然后举了高坤的例子说明制定正确选择的好处，但是和你要说明这点是不相对应的）=>总结：人们应该制定合适的选择。所以你看出来没，你的第二部分和你要论证的不是一回事，但是例子确实和你的这段的中心一样，这就是为什么会显得乱的原因。

We may come across many questions during our daily life. Between according to the role models and thinking and acting independently we should make a choice, what should we do? I think both of them are very important.

In the first place, the role models can bring us a lot of meanningful things such as motive power and experiences and so on. According to the role models, we can give us confidence and may reduce some troubles. For example ,when we choose some lessons and choose some teachers when we study in the university ,we can ask our serior sister for some suggestions such as the teacher’s style of teaching , the focal and diffcult points of the lessons , doing this , we can adjust to the teacher and learn the lessons easily . Another example , Aristotle is one of the best philosopher and scientist in the history . In that time , people knowed that he had rich knowledge, people respected and learned from him. Alexandria was one of his students . Alexandria took his teacher for a model ,learned a lot of knowledge involing politics , economic, culture , philosophy etc from his teacher . By his effort, he became one of the best king and strategist in the history, making an important effect on the developing of human beings.

In the second place , learning to think and act independently is also important . Everyone is a single unit , everyone has his own way for living, doing and thinking . One method can adjust to others , but it may bring you a lot of troubles . In one hand, thinking and acting independently can help us find the best way to us . Ma Yun , who is known as the CEO of  Alibaba , which is the second biggest network company in the world , once failed on hiring workers . At the beginning of setting Alibaba, his teamwork hired many employees who graduated from very good universities . After a time , Ma Yun found that they not only had to pay them high salaries , more important , these people could not bring substantive benefit to the company because of their ideas and plans were not in accord with the fact of the current situation of the company . After careful thought , Ma Yun made an amazing decision which was to dismiss them and hired some layforks . Just by the realistic job by these people , the company developed very fast . After that , Ma Yun said , not the best people adjust to our company at that time , just by thinking and acting independently we made the right choice and choose the best way for us , and by this , I saved my company . In another hand , the society needs us to think and act independently . If there are no thinging and acting independently , we could not find new things ,could not creat new invention and the whole world could not make progess .

At last, in some cases , if we want to do something better , not only should we rely on role models , but also we must think and act independently , finding the bonding point maybe the best choice .

According the three pargraphs above , I want to say that relying on role models and thingking and acting independently both have its own advantages . For different circumstances , we should take different methods .
