The reading passage illustrated that the dinosaurs were endotherms, and gave three evidences to prove this opinion. However, the speaker in the lecture totally contradicted the main idea from the reading materials.
First, the speaker pointed out that the dinosaur fossils in polar region couldn't prove that the dinosaur was endotherm. Ancient climate was warmer in the polar region, and the temperature was obviously higher than now. So the reading passage's idea that dinosaur must be endotherm animal which could keep constant body temperature to keep alive in the cool climate was not correct.

Second, the speaker said that the body size of dinosaur was large, and the weight was heavy. Although their legs were positioned underneath their bodies, it couldn't suggest that the dinosaur belongs to endotherm. It also refute the reading passage's opinion that the underneath legs was the symbols of endotherm.

At last, the speaker hold the opinion that the bone structure of dinosaur named Haversion canals grew very slowly. It would stop grow in the cool climate. However, the reading passage held the opinion that the presence of Haversian canals was strong evidence that the dinosaur was an endotherm, which neglected the diversity of this Haversian canals.

First, the speaker pointed out that the dinosaur fossils in polar region couldn't prove that the dinosaur was endotherm. Ancient climate was warmer in the polar region, and the temperature was obviously higher than now(that of today, 温度和表示时间的now是不能进行比较的). So the reading passage's idea that dinosaur(the dinosaur貌似单数名词不可以单独出现，要么用个定冠词或不定冠词修饰，要么用个形容词修饰，呵呵，不知道我记错了没) must be endotherm animal which could keep constant（去掉） body temperature constant to keep alive in the cool climate was not correct.
Second, the speaker said that the body size of dinosaur(a dinosaur) was large, and the weight was heavy. The reading passages give three possible explanations to illustrate the Chaco Canyon's function. However, the lecture contradicts these ideas by presenting the flaws which the author neglected.

Firstly, the reading passage said that the Chaco structures were used for residential because of its big capacity. And the author also said that the appearance of this building was similar to today’s apartment. However, the speaker refuted this idea by giving the evidence that there were not enough fireplaces to support the residents' daily cooking. Besides, the speaker also pointed out this Chaco building only contained 10 families other than hundreds of people.

Secondly, the reading materials hold that Chaco building was used for food storage, and said that the size of this house was suitable for the purpose to supply long-lasting food like grain maize. But the speaker has an opposite attitude. He said that the remainder of the big containers in the house may not be used for storage food. But the author couldn't explain why there were a lot of containers in this house.

At last, the reading paragraphs proposed that this house was used as ceremonies. From the site broken pots, the author implied that this building may be a ceremony places in the old time. Nevertheless, the author neglects the usage of other materials like stones, sand, etc. These constructing materials couldn't use for regular treasures.
