With the process of education springs out an interesting issue which concerns that whether the university students should take the fundamental science classes which they are not devoted in. In my opinion, I hold that every student in university should have a try to engage in this nature classes. Specifically speaking, my thought will be supported by the growth of individual, hug range of social circle and development of society. These reasons are provided in the following paragraphs.

To begin with, the primary reason is that it is the vast extent of the basic needs, rather than the requirement asking students understand those sophisticated theory, that is regarded as a vital basis which university students should understand. For the reason that not all the students are aware of what the future it is going to be, or even they may do not know the subjects they study are their really interests, university has the responsibility to spread the basic education, especially in science. For example, if an employee gets tired of his statistical boring job and wants to change to take part in the physical research like Einstein, how can he makes a change without any basic knowledge about physics?

Furthermore, the second reason is that spread your touch in knowledge can broaden your view and enable you to meet more friends. As we know, university is just not only a place which allows you to live and learn, but rather an amazing small society which requests you to keep touch with others. The more people you know, the wider your view will be. Imagine that a student who is totally devoted in his art sculpture and stay away from others which makes him becomes a nerd, how can his works be appreciated by others in the future?

Last but not the least, since the development of information technology runs faster, the society calls for more generalists. University should meet this trend and require its students to take part in those basic lessons. For example, students who graduate from Management College should have the common sense of mathematical theory to treat with the emergency in stock, or they will pay for the economical loss.

Considering the shortage that this politic will undoubtedly cost students much more time and energy and require university more cost, the advantages still outweigh them. So I insist my thoughts.
