Should the education meet every individuals needs, so that it would be more effective, as the speaker maintains? I agree insofar that specific courses to meet different requirements are a good way to educate. Otherwise, in my viewpoint, learning in a whole and methodic way is equally important.


Admittedly, education will be effective when designed to meet everyone's requirements and interests. As an old saying goes, "interests are one's best teacher", the education, specified for someone, can meet one's interests and so, inspires he or she to go further in the field without outside/exterior forces. A part of students, particularly pupils, are easier to be fed up with the school works, which are somewhat boring and humdrum. However, what frequently happens is that when a child is praised by his or her teacher, he or she is easily fond of the subject the teacher teaches. For the praise, which is partly a matter of elevation of self-confidence, can incentive one to go ahead and eventually, convert into a kind of interests. Thus, when the courses in class can suffice the requirement to a turn, there is no denying that one would feel pleasure to continue his or her works, which sets education up as a more effective tool.


However, owing to the constraint of the development of the society, many nations and areas cannot realize the way to meet everyone's interest; further, it is also not always good to the student's growth to learn merely what they like. Apart from the economic problems, it is advised to have a look at every subject, especially for those newcomers. Clinging to one's unaltered preference, he or she takes no advantages of learning, which is focused on teaching as well as build a primarily understanding of the society, both in objective and subjective point of view. Besides, if one intends to do research in a certain field, who we call specialists, it is vital to take a general understanding of the field and the subjects relevant to it, which will be in favor of the research profoundly.


In fact, though special designed courses contribute to one's further development, having a whole idea about all the subjects in knowledge assists to build a more complete recognition to the world. The main purpose of education, is not only to teach students to learn reasoning and analyzing, but also helps them to construct proper value systems. To a recent survey, about 60% students who learn in science and engineering courses, lacks the basic knowledge of history and philosophy, which lead to worse situations that it is due to those humanities that one can realize the definition and position of oneself. Sinking oneself into the equations and numbers, the ability to communication and teamwork spirit, for instance, cannot be fostered, which is of great importance to make friends with others and get a good job in the future. To develop a complete characteristic is the ultimate of education that should not be forgotten, so the generalization of the subjects, to some extent, is equally crucial.


Simply put, without learning in general, one cannot get a full understanding of the world, without specified education program; however, it is quite hard to meet everyone's need. Thus, learning all subjects as integrity is of first consideration, after having a look at other subjects, special designed courses can make the best use of one talents and potential.
