People who are well-informed should understand the significance of information sources, which are the most important way. With the development of technical, more and more methods were being invented. For example, nowadays, people could probably know the news happened all over the world through listening to the broadcast, watching from the television and reading newspapers. Besides, they can get certain information which they needs by searching on the internet. I think to be well-informed people should get information from many different information sources.

The World-Wide-Web (WWW) seems like the popular way of getting information. From doing research online, there would be many thousands of result, as a well-informed people, one more things to do that is to filter information. In addition, people will realize that there are many different people with their different opinions about a certain problem, which help understanding both pros and cons. However, people also can choose to take part in the conversation whenever they want, in order to gain more views and explanations about the problem, towards a better understanding. So if the person know the both side now, derive a better the way to fully expressing something, he should be the one who is well-informed.
Long time ago, people exchanged information by gathering together, mostly used language and gesture to communicate with each others, the content of the communication often covers a lot, meanwhile, they were making an interactive groups of communicating. Currently, some of those interactive groups of communicating are replace by the communication technologies, such as a broadcast system. Because the broadcasting that allows one person to share something with many other people at the same time, which represents a high efficiency than ever before. So if the person realizes the limitation of each kind of communication method, try to get the useful and accurate information, he could be the well-informed people.
