终于狠下心来写了一篇,脑袋中没有例子,太难写了~老描述 老说概念,本来就表达不好,好郁闷,背不下来东西~知识面窄,要想办法了~

TOPIC: ISSUE112 - "Some educational systems emphasize the development of students' capacity for reasoning and logical thinking, but students would benefit more from an education that also taught them to explore their own emotions."
WORDS: 412 TIME: 01:09:10 DATE: 2010-3-4 18:24:00
============================================================================
中文提纲:
开头段:引出句+解释explore emotion的涵义+立场(两个都很重要,没有偏向)
标准段:判断一个因素是不是必要的话要看他是不是符合教育的目的——全面认识这个世界
理性段:A.
=============================================================================
There exist an impassioned controversy nowadays concerning the issue of the mode of education.We often find ourselves involved in a dilemma whether we should reach for development of students' critical thinking or exploring of their emotions, which refers to understanding both the determinants and consequences of moods and emotions. It is of great significance to emphasize the capacity for reasoning and logical thinking, while the competence in exploring their emotions can not be neglected.
The criterion for estimating , in an eductional system, wether a factor is necessary or not is to check if it is consistent with the aim of education, cultivating personality and creative intelligence. As to this issue, exercise of logical thiking can benefit the rational or precise knowledge of the world, and the cultivating of emotions can provide a more sensible view. Development of IQ is not the only factor determining the success of education, while the EQ, mental maturity plays an critical role during the study process to which we should pay attention as well.
As a threshold matter, the cultivation of academic ability, which including critical thinking, literature, arithmaitic, physics, and so forth, proves to be the fundemental function of edcation systems. There is no denying that we should enrich our knowledge during the process, which is a common sence. Considering the research in history,biology,chemistry,among the various factors, critical thinking and logical reflection, in most cases, makes the most considerable contribution to the advancement of science. On the contrary, if a professor conduct a research utilizing objective imagination, the consequences will be dreadful. Zidane, a famous French football player, fouled out the match field, consequently, putting an end to loss of championship in The World’s Cup 2006. He became annoyed for an Italian player’s insulting words and fight against him. If only he could control his emotion ,the tragedy would be avoided.
Yet, the contemporary education's overlooking of guidance as to the exploating our emotions can have detrimental consequences. Such ignorance leads to a warm bed for the imbalance of many students' growth, becoming more and more apathetic to things around them. However,instead of lack of humanity, perceptual knowledge will benefit a more comprehensive understanding of the world.
Aside from the development of academic aptitude, it is essential for the students to have a perceptual knowledge of the world around us. Based on the intuition concept that the world is symmetric, Faraday, a physical scientist, establish the theory of electromagnetism. Those who are contributing to fine and performing art must have a good cognition of things around.
Without rational concept of the world,we cannot analyze it with an objective view and conclude compelling conclusions. Without perceptual knowledge, we can not develop ourself in all respects and only lead to apathy. Thus, the advancement of the two can not pale in importance compared to each other. It pays to make progress on two aspects. |
