"The absence of choice is a circumstance that is very, very rare."

The speaker concludes that it is a very, very rare circumstance that there is no choice. There might be so many people disagree with this claim. Sometimes they might complaint that they have to do or even are forced to do something because the absence of choice; sometimes they might regret that they have no chance to fulfill what they want to. From where I am concerned, however, I strongly agree with the speaker that the absence of choice is a circumstance that is very, very rare.

Admittedly, there are quite a few stubborn facts that we should face up to and have no choice to ignore. We have no choice to become something else, as someone sometimes want to be a flying bird or even the eye of someone else, but only human being; we have no choice to avoid from the punishment of the law if we commit a crime; we have no choice but to be in the face of death one day, etc. However, it is not mean that we have no choices. Someone sometimes complain that they have no choice but have to do or be forced to do something. Actually, they may have a lot of choices but only see pass by.

It is most possible that in every circumstance, no matter in individual every day life, scientific domain, national decision-making and the like, there are always choices. Some physically challenged people does give up their hope and take pains to leave a good life. When Hitler was in
power in Nineteen Thirties, Albert Einstein left Germany and moved to United States to continue his research. Thus, while people in desperation, it does mean no leeway, but means a significantly challenge to him/her.

However, though we have free choices, these choices should be made in the range of law and moral accountability; if we do not reflect carefully on our actions, we are not taking responsibilities and leaving the cause of the action to some other force. There is a notorious case in China for seven years ago, Jiajue Ma, a student major in Biology Technology at Yunnan University. On campus, Jiajue Ma cannot address harmony relationship with his roommates and other classmates, after several quarrels he cannot bear inner complaints and choose to kill his three roommates. That’s really a tragedy, Jiajue Ma absolutely to associate with teachers or psychological doctor to entangle his knots in mind instead of his cruel behavior. Emphatically, free choice must made in the range of law.

In conclusion, there is very rarely circumstance that absence of choice. What’s more crucial is, choice is an illusion, under the range of law and moral, we have courage to face difficulties and considered possible choice we can do instead of lose heart and without doing anything.
