Recently, my friend Lucy, an undergraduate from Stanford, asks me a question that, which style of the teachers’, is more helpful for the students 'study. Serious and strict or humor and easygoing。 Different people hold different opinion on this issue. A majority of people insist that a serious and strict teacher can teach more knowledge on class. A small group of people oppose that a teacher is so serious and strict that students afraid to ask question. Considerable though the benefits that a serious and strict teacher can bring to study have are, they cannot compete with the advantages that a teacher with humor and easygoing when the students’ reactivity and the atmosphere on the class are taken into consideration

Admittedly, a teacher who is serious and strict can forced the students listen carefully on the class and the teacher can teach more important points for this subject. And the students will finish homework on time no matter in whatever methods due to the fact that they are afraid of their teacher.

From my perspective as a college student, students prefer to attend the course with the teacher who is humor and easygoing. a latest survey conducted by the Cornell university reveal that 70% of the students interested in one course because they are attracted by the teacher. In other words, we may learn hard and get a high score at final exam because we like the teacher, with humor and easygoing, and then like his course.

Moreover, teacher’s humor can release the students' stress and easygoing can make the students more willing to discuss with teacher when they encounter the difficulties. Compared with the teacher who is serious and strict, learning with the teacher who is humor and easygoing can certainly increase the efficiency of our study. What’s more, the atmosphere of the class when we discussing with teacher is more active and it can enhance the mutual communication the students and the teacher.

Sum up, I am willing to concede that a teacher who is serious and strict has advantages somehow. But I still stay by my side firmly that a teacher with humor and easygoing can increase the efficiency of our study

看了一下你的作文，感觉你对托福作文的基本要求还是有了解的，但是论证实在有点逻辑不清。第二段和第三段之间没有过渡，第三段和第四段论证的差不多是同一个意思。另外，你的语法和词汇错误有点多，建议在这方面再加强。第一篇能写到这个程度已经很不错了，加油！
