真相：有效护照的官方说明 [复制链接]

细心的朋友可能会发现，领事馆对有效护照的解释很矛盾。

这个网页说：
http://chinese.usembassy-china.org.cn/niv_student.html

有效护照：如果您的护照将在距您预计抵美日期的六个月内过期、或已损坏、或护照上已无空白的签证签发页, 请在前来面谈之前先申请一本新护照。

另一个网页说：
http://chinese.usembassy-china.org.cn/requireddocu.html

有效护照。护照有效期必须比你计划在美停留时间至少长出六个月。

有效护照：如果您的护照将在距您预计抵美日期的六个月内过期、或已损坏、或护照上已无空白的签证签发页, 请在前来面谈之前先申请一本新护照。

他指的是学生签证，一般学生在美国时间都会是长达3、4年的时间，如果按照第二条原则的话有点太苛刻了，所以学生签证的一般要求签证时候多6个月就行了

有效护照。护照有效期必须比你计划在美停留时间至少长出六个月。

像短期的旅游啊探亲啊商务之类的，按照第二个要求不算过分，因为本身这种情况在美国时间比较短，我们按照最长时间来考虑，也就是护照要签证的时候要有1年以上的有效期，其实这是很容易的情况

当然，也有很多朋友就是那么巧合刚好就不满6个月的时候去签证，这个时候，我觉得如果不是1、2天或者1、2个月就过期了的话，使馆官员基本上都不会太苛刻的。况且如果真的还有那么短时间就过期了，就自己而言不如先申请换新护照，这样自己以后也减少了很多麻烦，不是吗？

上面有关于护照有效期的解释
* A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond the applicant's intended period of stay in the United States (unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions). 我和你的情况一样你不要着急
我比你失效得更早我2011年6月就到期我还是打算4月底去签然后6月到期以后马上在中国换好新的护照 8月份同时拿着有有效签证的旧护照和新护照再出境我问过领馆了这么做是可行的
我想你也可以这么试试
还有
虽然领馆要求在面签时和出境时申请者的护照有效期都在一年以上
但实际上我查过美国网站了出境的时候护照有效期只要6个月以上就行但为了保险期间建议lz按照我说的那个做法做吧
明白我的意思了么？呵呵
当初我也发帖了都没人理我后来还是我自己搞清了~

I think no matter where you are, and whatever you are doing, there are always different challenges and tough tests from life whether you accept them or not. one of the most powerful cognitive thinking ability I learned from psychology is always be aware of the 'problems' -- distinct those catastrophic thoughts from the self from external events, and never let your negative emotions be part of the problems. after all, life is tough in someway we may not like it, we stilll need to be tougher in order to go over them. soo.. add oil and pray for a little.
life is short and people are great because of their dreams.
