1:visa interview
VO在不停的写。
--Good morning, madam.
VO: Good morning,Do you bring the Resume?
--yeah, this is my Resume (递过Resume).
VO: where will you study...?
--University of Iowa
V0: what is ...your major?
--Chemistry
V0: which chemisty will you study in USA?
--Theoretical and Computational Chemistry.
又开始长时间地写。
VO:what is your degree in china?
--I will obtain my bachelor's degree in the coming July.
VO: your major ...Bachelor..
--Chemical Physics
VO: chemical Physics? what about ...difference
between chemical physics and theoretical and computational chemistry?
--Oh, Chemical Physics is a broad and wonderful area,
it includes broad interaction between chemistry and Physics,
I choose theoretical and computational chemistry.
VO: do you have any research experience?
--oh, I always do the thesis for the B.S degree.
VO: what about your thesis.
--It is about electronic transport
VO..????(so long sentence and so fast)
--I am sorry , may I beg your pardon?
V0: is the electronic.....the conductance?
--Yeah! yeah! it is about the conductance of molecule.
真是偑服，electronic transport就是分子电导，这点她都能知道!!
VO: Can you say ....about .....?
--Oh, Yeah, the system I am studying is this: (用手比划）

we calculate the conductance using theoretical methods.
VO: ????(so long sentence and so fast)
--I am so sorry, may I beg your pardon?
VO: is ......inorganic molecule or organic molecule?
--yeah,it is an organic molecule.

VO: Do you know something about your future research ?
--Yeah, this is website of my student advisor,
this is the email we contact. Do you want to see it?
VO: yeah!, let me see

VO开始看，仔细看，这时我明白过来，她是在找
theoretical and computational chemistry 的字样
VO:???
--he does thooretical research in computer simulation of chemical physics
it is a subarea of molecular dynamics. you can see the email
the boss let me read some books which will be used for the research in the a
rea
of theoretical and computational chemistry.
VO: yeah, what will you do....in University of Iowa?
--I will do TA.
VO:what will you teach.....?
--the department told me by email I will maybe teach laboratory instruction.

VO:which laboratory?
--oh, it is about basic chemistry experiment. so easy!
VO: do you think you have the required english proficiency to work as a TA
--Yeah! I have the required english proficiency as it appears on the
certificate of eligibility for nonimmigrant student. the university requires

the english proficiency..besides, they also phoneinterview me
VO:oh, interview...by phone
--yeah,by phone
VO:this is a book ..guide for your USA study,....
then you can go to windows 11
--thank you!!
2:visa processing.
6:35去排队，8点钟进场，查护照号。上8楼，查DS表，安检。进内厅
按顺序按号，我得34号，按顺序交必要的材料（号码，收据，DS，I20，
offer letter,T&G score) 坐在椅子上等。
8：45VO进场。来始interview. 其中一个窗口显示33号，同来的charii,
走上前去。这时我很紧张，不停看各个窗口上的号。同来的几个mm也相继上前并顺利pa
ss
10分钟后，34号显示，我冲上前去。巨紧张。
VO不停地写，从她灿烂的笑容可以看出她心情很好。几乎她就没停止
过微笑，我很快放松了。pardon时都不紧张了。
后来的结果证明没错，虽然金发问了很多问题，但都不是在刁难我。
3:visa preparation
(1)21号晚上在陕中招待所和charri,nonono,angel,jinny等人突击，专业details。mor
e details,
example,study plan,回国理由及计划准备了好多，结果一个没用上。
108问几个方面的问题都想好了答案，心里就不会心慌了。
(2)DS157，化学经验填否。
签证处对面中信有原版的DS表可领。
8楼有样表，和大全上说的一样，有些地方有出入也不要紧。我领了
原表，但是懒得写。带回来送给jjping了。
4:living
有个哥们，坐汽车，到昆山就被扔下来了。如果坐汽车，事先一定要问好是否一定到
上海市内。
K840次5：50am到上海站下，--W--的字样表示地铁。
出站－－＞地铁一号钱－－＞人民广场站下（不出站）－－＞地铁二号线－－＞石门一
路站下（出站）－－
（问人）－－＞梅龙镇广场（不是广场，是一幢大楼即签证处）

美琪双人间180元，老板吊儿难当的，看着很是不爽。没住。
陕中双人间130元，服务不错。走到签证处8分钟。
