The speaker contends that children's socialization determines thedestiny of society and we have yet raised children who can help bring about abetter society. I strongly disagree. I concede that children'ssocialization
is important to the entiresociety, however, there are some other factors is important as well, and we'velearned how to raised these children.
First, I admit that in some cases how children are socialized todaydetermines the destiny of society.
Children may not make contributions to the society without being wellsocialized. And what's worse,
theinadequate socialization may lead to terrible influence on children.
For example,
some children don't admit their mistakes and even make some lies toconceal those mistakes when they do something bad without seeing by others.
If
those children keep doing things like that, they will become dishonest whenthey are socializing with others and even do some seriously terrible things inthe future.
However, socialization is just one factor that determines thedestiny of the society.
The level ofscientific technology also have the same function.
For example,
Bill Gates and his Microsoft change the operating system people useeveryday.
At first, it was MicrosoftBasic, and gradually evolved into today remains popular Visual Basic.
This revolution facilitate
people's life and work when they are usingcomputers. What's more, there are many other factors determine the destiny ofthe society, such as, education, innovation and family atmosphere.
Inaddition, we have already learned how to raise children who canbring about a better society when
itcomes to the development and progress of the society. For example, the scientistsmake effort to explore the outer space to comprehend the unknown field ofknowledge.
This achievement
inspires children to explore knowledge usefulto the progress of the society so as to
fulfill their dream of making contributions tothe society. And the contributions will determine the destiny of society.
In sum,
I concede thatsocialization and other important factors together determine the destiny ofsociety. Admittedly, although
there arestill some problems existing in education on children, it doesn't influence thetotal trend that we have already learned how to raise children who can help bringabout a better society.
