1010G欢迎拍文作文互改小组 7月13日作业

因为是第二次写这个题目,想和第一次不同,所以就直接赞同题目的观点
然后提出自己的看法:不存在不与生活相关的历史,有点偏激。

TOPIC: ISSUE103 - "The study of history has value only to the extent that it is relevant to our daily lives."
WORDS: 450
TIME: 00:45:00
DATE: 2010-7-13 13:57:26

I venture to ask: Is there any parts of history not relevant to our daily lives? In the process of human development, all our efforts are in order to have a better life. And so that the developments in all fields include science, economics, humanities and even wars are to meet people’s aspirations of a better live.

History in some subjects seems have no relationship with our daily lives. Someone consider that some uncommon subjects which we even cannot accurately call out their names or do not know do no benefits for out daily lives. Without them we still live, we can still search on the Internet and we can still talk to our friends. And without them the Earth is still running. So history in these subjects is not relevant to our daily lives. But in my point of view, these histories are important. For instance, in common people’s eyes at that time, Newton's laws of mechanics is no help to their daily lives. But Mr. James Watt used these laws to create steam engines, which have profoundly affected our daily lives now. From an unremarkable law to a magic work which improves people's lives, can one say that it is not relevant our daily lives? Maybe some histories are not linked with daily lives now, but who can promise in the future they will not exhumed by scholars and to be serve the people?

One may think that the history of wars have no value because it is not relevant to our daily lives. Indeed, in the age of peace we do not need to fight each other, and in today's globalize world, to dominate the world by force is no longer impossible, we have no need to learn some tactics which service for wars. But to notice, competitions in commerce are also exist and may even more intense than before. Who says we cannot use these tactics which intended used in wars apply in business competitions? We can, and actually some have been used. "The Art of War", a book written by an ancient Chinese author, is not just an art of war, but writing records of ancient war histories. Nowadays, functions of this book are not only effect in the war area; more importantly, it has become a guidance of business leaders to control the fierce competitions in commerce.

In sum, if and only if study of history relevant to our daily lives, it is meaningful. However, we cannot find a case that some parts of history which is not relevant to our daily lives, Because as along as there are humans participate in the activity of creating history, this history is relevant to our daily lives.

Without them we still live, we can still search on the Internet and we can still talk to our friends( 把这个例子结合历史谈). And without them the Earth is still running. So history in these subjects is not relevant to our daily lives. But in my point of view, these histories are important. For instance, in common people’s eyes at that time, Newton's laws of mechanics is no help to their daily lives. But Mr. James Watt used these laws to create steam engines, which have profoundly affected our daily lives now.(怎么帮助的) From an unremarkable law to a magic work which improves people's lives, can one say that it is not relevant our daily lives? Maybe some histories are not linked with daily lives now, but who can promise in the future they will not exhumed by scholars and to be serve the people?(举例说明,而不是来回绕圈)
One may think that the history of wars have no value because it is not relevant to our daily lives(接着往下说,说战争到底跟生活怎么联系起来了). Indeed, in the age of peace we do not need to fight each other, and in today's globalize world, to dominate the world by force is no longer impossible, we have no need to learn some tactics which service for wars. But to notice, competitions in commerce are also exist and may even more intense than before. Who says we cannot use these tactics which intended used in wars apply in business competitions?(这个书的例子很好,但是书起的作用说的不够) We can, and actually some have been used.
However, we cannot find a case that some parts of history which is not relevant to our daily lives, Because as along(long) as there are humans participate in the activity of creating history, this history is relevant to our daily lives.(最后几句语气要再加强)

感觉你结合日常生活的不够
谈战争科学这些话题,要注意与生活的关联。
而且展开的不够,很多论点很有说头,但都只是开个头就结束。
语法错误要多注意,继续改进,加油!
