如果你要证明历史的研究和现实生活没有关系,只要把daily life的定义说得明确一点，比如对我们目前的生活，工作，学习。
或者把历史限定在一个很狭窄的范围内，比如我刚才说的例子，一个灭绝的古王国的历史。或者一个君王。

而且他说只有跟现实生活有关才有价值。。那么我可以满足了个人好奇心，即使没什么关系，也是一种价值。比如一个君王怎么死的，红楼梦后面80回谁写的，这个确实对于daily life没有什么意义，但是对于研究者个人来说，从纷繁的资料中找到事情的真相，这是一种自我实现，就跟一个历史学家说的那样，study history is fun。History combines   the excitement of exploration and discovery with the sense of reward born of   successfully confronting and making sense of complex and challenging problems.
