Argument中关于重复assumption该不该的问题，欢迎大家讨论

在修改Argument的时候，遇到了一个问题，我举例说明

比如说，原文：
中国比美国更好，因为中国的历史比美国更悠久。

我在Argument里这样写：
作者无法通过中国的历史比美国更悠久这个证据来得到中国比美国更好的结论。作者unfairly assumes that 历史更悠久的国家就更好。Perhaps...; or perhaps... ..........

红字部分是重复了作者的证据和结论；而蓝字部分则是作者的assumption。后面的例子针对assumption进行攻击。

但是有些同学认为我的这个蓝字部分是多余内容，与红字部分有重复的嫌疑。我就困惑了，不知道该不该去说明一遍assumption呢？因为在大学里遇到的所有外教课，都强调让我们找到这个link证据和结论的assumption，然后攻击之。到底这是不是有意义的重复？

you can combine this two sentence into one, if what you what to express is as simple as this example..

using something, like,  the speaker asserts China is better USA based solely on that fact that the former one has longer history that the latter, however, longer history is insufficient to support his xxxx.

but when assumption is more complicate, it is ok for you to repeat...
