Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Younger school children (ages five to ten) should be required to study art and music in addition to math, science, history and language.

Nowadays, numerous of pupils want to learn more about the other subjects after them finished homework. They want to have enough different hobbies to communicate with their friends. Most of them, music or art just like the game to play, they do not study very hard about art or music. So, in my personal opinion, primary school’s pupils do not required to learn about music and art.

First of all, children should play the games that are not stay in the school to study the other minor disciplines. In the Chinese ancient story, it is name is 《 A Monody for Zhong Yong 》，the protagonist’s name is Zhong Young. FANG, when he was a child, he already know used the Chinese brush that nobody taught him how to used it, he also write the words perfect, so all the relatives were think he is a genus, but the most important point is, if his father still taught him to practice the words, Zhong Yong should became to a famous calligrapher, but his father did not do it like this suggest, his father just knew how to show Zhong Yong’s words to earn money. So, when Zhong Yong was a child, everyone expected him that was a genus, year after year, he just stayed in the same level after he grew up and he already was not a genus, he just a normal. From the previous example, it is not hard to figure out that, a child should play the game or do all the things just he like, though he is a clever boy, if his parents just pick him to earn some money, it is not different with consume the children’s childhood.

Of course, study music and art can practicing different hobbies about children, and when they grow up, they may used these way to survive in the society.

Right now, children in younger school do not required to study music and art in addition to the main subjects. Because we do not give them too much pleasure, if we give them a free zone to do the thing just they like, I think it can help them grow up regularly.
