写到后来写不出啊,总觉得分论点展不开,请教各位大侠有什么高招么?非常感谢!

In recent decades, science and technology are developing at an unprecedented pace which bring endless and constant expanding benefits to the whole society.(which想指代science and technology用得对不对?) Consequently, some people strongly advocate that government should place little restrictions on scientific research and development. However, this position is unsounded if given a second thought.

To begin with, government should provide free space for academic exploration. A large proportion of scientific achievements are piloted by the most creative minds whose wild imagination should not be restricted by manifold governmental regulations. As the brilliant scientist Einstein remarked, “Everything that is really great and inspiring is created by individuals who can labor in freedom.” To that end, the US president Obama had lifted restrictions on federal funding for research on embryonic stem cell lines last year and pledged to vigorously support new researches. This movement was interpreted by the American media as a sign that scientific researches would be free of governmental interferences and thus be delightedly welcomed by the masses and scholars for this governmental attitude could not only accelerate scientific advancement, but also endow the patients with the fear of almost incurable disease with hope.

Though scientific development needs the fertile ground of freedom, certain government restrictions still hold great significance. History teaches us that everything is a double-edged sword, even the most seemingly beneficial scientific may lead to disastrous social consequences when being abused. The advent of nuclear energy releases people from the concern of destorying the environment and worsening the current condition of global warming by replacing the conventional power plants and providing us with an endless supply of clean energy. However, looking back on the history, it was the military use of nuclear technology that claimed thousands of innocent people's lives in the Second World War. Even till today, the same problem is pushing the Iranian civilians to the deadly threat of war. Therefore, the government should and must place clear and strict regulation on both scientific researches and on the application of certain technology in order to maintain peace and prosperity worldwide as well as guarantee scientists
with more stablized academic environment.

The government had better neither place too many nor too few restrictions on academic researches, and the most appropriate interference should be judged by the nature of particular research programs. When it comes to researches that potentially threaten civilians well-being, both physically and spiritually, this very issue should be handle with absolute caution and seriousness. Cloning, for instance, organ cloning is regarded as one of the most advanced and effective medical approach to cure the most devastating disease. However, while patronizing researches in this field, the government should leave a close eye on any delinquent experiment in human cloning which is challenging and hurting people’s feeling. On the other hand, researches on the field of psychology, for instance, might be blessed with less intense restritions and inspection but more guidance. As far as I am concerned, differing regulations based on each individual research will appear to be the most sensible and benefitial position for government to hold.

Scientific and technological advancement has the magical capacity of providing people with great convenience and comfort, however, it might also turn to be the deadly weapon to threaten the peaceful world. To address this paradox, government should have the ability of handling scientific researches on a case-to-case basis and establish the emergency responding mechanism accordingly.
