History never lacks great minds who distinguish from his comtemporaries.These great figures bear outstanding characters or unique ideas that are usually unparalelled .Nevertheless,this doesn't necessarily lead to the consequence that they are destined to be mis-asessed by their contemporaried ,and got vindicated in the following age.

Above all,in different history phase people define the world greatness distinctly.This may results from the disparaties existing in their belifs and thinking pattern.For example,in a comparatively more money-oriented socity,as our socity,magnet such as Bill gates and Buffet who has earned a big fortune is worshipped and inmitated.Setting them in civil war period,they were possiblely labled
fortune-seeker who rarely considering the stability of country.While Lincoln stepped on the pedestal of greatness.The measuring yard of different region,different country,different ages distinct enormously.

The achivements of individuals that coincidently meet the benefit and pursuit of their contemporaries appear to receive more acknowledgements,especially when the achivements can be presented in specific substance that can be effortlessly measured and observed.For instance, in a technology-worshiped society,technical inventions that benefit the society get its popularity inmediately after its birth,accordingly,the mother of the invention received the accoladation of the contemporaries instantly.The CEO of Apple ,Steve Jobs,who is now pilgrimed by many youth as a godlike genius,can be illustrated to demonstrate this point.To addition,in the period of The great quantum leap in China,in argicutural cooperatives,the man who harvested the most heavy pumpkin can be regarded as a pioneer and recieve a medal gravely,which may be talked just as an anecedote in contemporary society.People turn to imediately acknowledge the value of individuals when their achivements meet their beliefs or bring them profits,otherwise ,it may take a long way for them to realize and fully understand the greatness of the individual.

On the other hand,the profoundness and uniqueness of these great minds can be a gap that distinguished them as well as isolated them.Great as Van Gogh is ,people give him deservable asessment only after his death.This may trace by to the fact that general public had limited knowledge about a specific field,in this case,art.Thus they may fail to understand the profound ideas of the great mind.The world Van Gogh tried to potrayed is a world his contemporaries hardly reached.Only after decades,as the justifiable assessment accumulated,he was decided to be a genius.Another example can be taken is the misearable suffering of Galileo,who challenges the Church pubicly to defend his theory.His uniqueness and disconformity made him labelled heresy.Many other scientists such as Aristotle,Socrates。Generally,they are profound scientist ,artist or philosophor who eventually exert significant and deep effect in their field.Also,the health care reform of President Obama raise a mariad of controveries.But who can guarantee that he won’t be regarded as a great reformer of american history since GeorgeWashington received quite a lot of critiques too when he founded American with other co-founders？
