4. Admittedly, people’s will should be seriously considered when policies directly affect them, especially large number of people, this can also give advices to politicians in a democratic way.

In any democratic countries, people have rights to decide everything they want, so, is this alone that government officers should unquestioningly carry out the will of their people? While, I basically maintain that government should make judgment by they own and people’s will should also properly considered.

In the beginning, politicians and government experts, generally speaking, are well trained in years of practice and have expertise skills, which is essential to conduct policies in some specific areas making possible to make more reasonable and just judgments than ordinary mass. During the Asia financial crisis in 1997, when all the neighbors of china decreased their currency appreciation in order to stimulate exports to the world, thus, gaining economy growth.
People in domestic china had a strong voice to the government that they should also did as what their neighbors because exports extreme decreasing and unemployment still soar. Facing with huge discontent from the public, premier Zhu RongJi at that time judged from international environment based on his own economic expertise background and announced that the government would not lower currency appreciation. This was proved to be a right action in a later time that because of china’s stable exchange rates, Asia economy back to warm in a not long time.
It was the politicians’ expertise experiences that finally helped china and other Asia countries revived from the financial crisis.

Although politicians, in general, are competent in their work owning to their expertise knowledge and practiced experiences, they should not unequivocally implement people’s demand. We know that since everyone will intrinsically fight for his or hers own interest, so their requests are just personal favor , which may not view from a comprehensive stance ,thus, can’t be optimally allocate limited social resources. Taking the Greece unrest for example, recently, Intrigued by the Greece debt crisis, Greek government have to adopt a number of treaties that include cut off government deficit in the coming years, so as to get assistance from European Union and IMF. AS a means of decreasing deficit, government forced to carry out a serials of astringent public expense, which impaired public interest resulted in many cities’ turmoil.
We are clear that this unrest can’t do nothing to help the country out of trouble, on the contrary, but may aggravate current situation.
Though, it’s people’s right to express on unwanted things, they should not neglect the fact they all confronting now. Anyway, they cared about themselves.
Admittedly, people’s good will and just request should be properly considered for it help politicians look in some different ways ,furthermore, contribute democrat to a country. Social headache problems such as violence, pollution and disease are enduring and not probably diminish in a short time, but can be reduced by public efforts. For instance, in order to achieve a stable society, we could create a relative peaceful environment and instill our children with non-violence principles.

And, it is our rights to participate in political events, we can express our ideas freely. This can form a democratic atmosphere where everyone is the master of him or her self.

In sum, politicians should make their judgments by their own for their have some experiences and skills others don’t possess, meanwhile, they should not cater for public request for it is sometime unreasonable or provincial. However, one should not, in any event, forget people’s just and reasonable suggestions. Besides, one nation belongs to its all people, no one alone can make decisions, the right thing, for a leader leading a country to brighter future, is to cooperation and trust each other.
