个人情况: 清华生医，去年本科毕业，留校助研，全奖，tulane univ.

tips:
1. future plan, as specific as you can. Don't bother yourself about where you
will work, i.e., in univ or in company or set up company by your own... Concen
trate on its content and meaning for our China. Going to US is for coming back
to China. Convince yourself first. And, it is important to mention your plan
by yourself. I mean, actually, vo is waiting for you to explain your plan.

2. say when appropriate. I have seen at least 2 girls in win9 whose oral engli
sh is quite well and have prepared so many supporting materials. but, their Pa
PaPa words caused a Pa on their passport finally:  ( bless 2000. Thus, remeber,
it is a communication, not time for your speech show.

尽管是21号，但我起得实在太晚，9点左右才进去的。我始终觉得几点进去不是什么值得斟
酌的问题，什么时候都有可能有人过，并且你就是其中之一，对吧:)
排队等候的时候浏览了一些各个窗口，感觉vo们的确比较喜欢看着你说。(胆小如我的人，
还是多练练eye contact吧，看着vo就想不起来要说什么那就糟糕了o) 我这队分去了8号。
此vo很ss，只是稍微有些tt  (sorry sir:)

Me: Glad to meet you sir, here is the card.
(接过卡，停顿了会，然后郑重其事地说）
Vo: How are you today?
(我愣了下，呵呵)
Me: Fine, thank you.
(vo又停顿了下，估计是等着我说and you，可是我居然忘了！ft)
Vo: and, you have worked as a research assistant?
Me: yes, and i am carrying on the development of XXX
Vo: XXX?
Me: yes
Vo: how many schools did you apply?
Me: 6
Vo: have you applied any univ. in Canada, england?
Me: no
Vo: any Chinese univ.?
Me: no
Vo: why?
Me: although our chinese univ. have developed very fast recent years, there is
still a gap between these two, i mean

Vo: your G&T

Vo: do you have financial aid?
Me: yes, i have got full financial aid with a tuition waiver and a stipend of.

Vo: what will you study in usa?
Me: I will pursue my ... in Tulane. and i will specialize in the area of XXX.

Vo: XXX?
Me: yes, XXX is used to allievate pain and .... My ultimate goal is to... for
those people in China.
Vo: tulane has a strong program in XXX?
（天啊，把我该说的都说了，真是太nice了，我还以为自己听错了呢）
Me: yes, it keeps ahead in this area.
Vo: why not in america after graduation?
Me: most of the disabled people come from the low-income family. they can't af
ford to buy the expensive imported XXX. And, i will try to get funds from the
National... program, carry on my research on XXX, come up with innovative XXX
and put it into industry....
(然后ss vo开始敲键盘了，我等了一会，觉得还是再说些什么比较好，于是）
Me: many professor in my department came from us. They have set up good relati
onship with industry... and i think i will have
(还没说完，vo抬起眼看我，我还是硬着头皮把最后几个字吐了出来)
a brilliant future in China.
(然后我当然打住不说了,huhu)
(然后就是congratulation，并且希望我能come back这类的话了)

整个过程感觉很快，vo也没有出什么刁难我的问题。别的vo我不很清楚，但这个ss vo很是
nice，关键的部分, i.e., your plan，他很耐心的会听你说。当然，你一开始要提出你的
points，然后再解释，这样才比较好。对于支持材料，我觉得他不问你要，你还是别主动
拿出来的好，vo会相信你的(当然，除了一定会回来这一点)，不然好像你自己都信不过自
己的话，非要拿出书面的才能证明。更何况，有些vo会比较烦看这看那的。

另外，我感觉对于我们BMEer来说，如果plan设计的有条有理，并且发挥正常的话，还是很
容易过的take it easy and best wishes to Coup on this 20th
