题目Advertising is the most important cause of unhealthy eating habits

Advertisement as a public media has flooded into every corner of people’s daily life and it is more convenient for people to acquire the latest information of commodities like food.


There is no doubt that the food company will utilize the advertisement to realize their sell promotion in order to obtain abundant profits as well. As a result, people’s attention are successfully drawn by these foof with careful and elaborated packages. If these food have a positive effect on forming of people’s health habit, for instance, eating fresh fruits such as pomegranates, bananas, and strawberry occasionally not only reduce the harm the radiation of computer does to people’s eyes, but also decrease people’s cholesterol in the blood vessel, it is unnecessarily to have concern that people’s eating structure will be altered and unhealthy habit will be formed.  


Admittedly, the fact is not as ideal as we thought of. In most cases, the advertisement don not inform true information of the food, just because the advertisers and food providers have the same motivation, that is, the exorbitant profits. For instance, the ingredient of some food includes high proportions of sugar and salt which may largely results in excessive body fat. Nevertheless, such essential information is often hidden behind the attractive advertisements and packages. A research, conducted by some biologists from Harvard University, focused on people’s taste inclination. Interestingly, the research shows that people have a natural propensity for sweet and salty food like cream chicken soup. Unfortunately, people don not have enough capacity of self-control to reject and dispose these food so that they will addict to such “gorgeous” food easily and become overeating unconsciously. Finally, they gradually set up an unhealthy eating habit, and suffer from the negative impacts taken by the chain reaction that the bad habit set off such as allergies, metabolic by-products, anxiety, emotional distress, dysfunctional relationships, metabolic disorders, over nutrition with excessive fat, sugar or protein, nutritional deficiencies and so forth.


In short, advertisement does improve people’s quality of life, but what we need to do is do not let the advertisement lead  by nose and keep away from those “dangerous” food.
