There are a lot of artworks in the history acquired extremely high assessment, and have become our human's immortal classic works of the arts. It's tend(desirable) to agree that it is the artists who created these tremendous arts, rather than the art critics. However, I just concede that critics also play irreplaceable role of judging the artworks in society.
First of all, it's undeniable that it is the artists create the arts. Without artists, art (art works)(这里本来想表达艺术品的,结果变成了艺术...悲剧悲剧,这样的话后面就不用该了吧?) would never have appeared on the earth, and the art critics will definitely have nothing to criticize. Artist presents his inner world and passion to the worldwith his proficient skills. , which needs talents of art. Only those artworks with high art values and created by a measure of aesthetics can be given the laurel of art and permanently membered by the history. It is not able for any artist to create such tremendous works.(加上这句会不会好点?)Michelangelo's work, David, using plaster represents human's body exactly, beautifully to show human beings on the (of the)world the perfect body endowed by the god. Were not Michelangelo who would have these tremendous skills and the insightful thoughts in one single person?
However,it's the critics who render the sculpture to the world, and justify its art value. Frequently, the meaning behind the work's surface was obscured to the majority of people, thereareonly a few people will have the perception to understand the feeling, the passion that the artist wants to represent through their art works. Merely through the critics' judgments(assessments and explanations) of the art work can it be accepted and perceived by the whole society. Without critics, a great quantity of artists' excellent works will be sinking in the sea of art works, let alone to become the classic engraved by history.
Besides, the critics can respond the views of the public to the artists. With this information the artists will have a better perception of the societies' voices, and then they can create works more close to the popularity. Thus their works may be familiar to large society, and may be easier to produce lasting influences upon the society. And the critics also provide the opposite views to expose flaws of the art works to their artists, and let them aware of the paths to improve their skill of art for the purpose of going further in the art field.
An even more important role of the critics is to choose those tremendous works qualified to enter history,(这个论点有点不对,能不能成为经典不是他们说了算的,真正的永恒之作是要经过岁月的检验的)(好多人都是你这个观点,不过我认为其实还是一代一代的批评家的检验. membered forever. This role can never be play by others. The works' viewer doesn't have an adequate system of the aesthetic knowledge. Perhaps there will be a few who have the knowledge to perceive the art, but to an art work different person will have divergent view points and assessment, so that no one can decide what is the real worth of a work, which is a mastered work, which should be documented in art history. Perhaps a host of excellent art works(, which would have become classics,) will be lost in history with the long controversy of it. Only the critics have the ability to make the judgment, perhaps may be unfair, but art cannot leave without them.
To sum up, the artists, as the creator of art works, are indispensible. But it is critics who bring the art to large society, assess their art values and social influences, and choose out those mastered should be documented in human history. In short, it is critics bring about something with last meanings to society.(和前句有点重复感)(本意是想把前面的总结一下,顺便扣题,我感觉吧对待老外要把东西都挑明了才行,也不知道对不,In short应该是重复前面的吧?望高人指点~) |
