Issue130 "How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learn how to raise children who can help bring about a better society."


Children
who named as the sun raised in the morning are the future of a country, and they will become the solid member during the next few decades in condition that they learn how to socialized and accompany with honesty, persistence, probity and kindness. However, the children not birth to dominate the society, but are educated by us. Unfortunately, we have not learned how to bring out children.

Socialization is a critical character for a child to develop our future society. It refers to the ability of communication and cooperation, which is necessary to get along with other social members. Communicating with others will enhance the mutual understanding and avoid segregating individuals from the society. Cooperation is the theme of contemporary society which helps tackle with the complex problems with the complex of the technology. It intertwines individuals, companies and nations joining together to address the social problems. Taking China as an instance, during the era of the open and reform policy, Chinese government focused on how to education their generation to communicate and cooperate with the western world so that China will not again make the mistakes their forefather made in the past century. As a result these children have built their country more prosperous than before.

However, socialization is only one factor influencing the extent to which an individual will ultimately contribute to the society and it is not the most important one. Values such as honesty, persistence, probity, kindness and so on are core lessons inculcated by parents and school systems.

On the second place, there is no definite answer about the question what is the better society. If a better society means better tolerance of viewpoints and people who are different from ourselves, greater respect of woman right, great respect for individuals rights, and greater cooperation between various culture and nation boundaries, then the young people have created a better society with the education of their father generation. Moreover, it can be views young people more sensitive to and respectful to woman right, racial and ethnics groups, homosexual, etc.
On the other side, if a better society means better environment without hazardous to the atmosphere, solid and water, better harmony between mankind and other creatures in this planet,
the old people have made a bad example to the next generation. With the development of the technology and progress of human society, the fossil fuels have been stretched to the limit of resources, and emitted enormous contaminate to the environment resulted in server environmental problems such as global warming, greenhouse effect and sea level rising, which threaten the humanity survival. In this view, we have failed to bring about children to educated them.

To sum up, the socialized extend of children is not the only critical character to determine the destiny of society. Honesty, persistence and others characters are combined to influence the children, thus determine the future of our society. The children need us to educate them how to a better society, although we have failed to set an good example to do it. We have lot to learn to raise the youth to create a better society, which need all the individuals in the world join together to tackle with it.
