Who am I? Where am I going? What do I always pursue for? What’s final goal in my life? Whether or not you have asked yourselves such questions consciously, you properly have been confused by the misty future. Since we stand on the diverse modern stage which provides us so many opportunities as well as multitude temptations, in my perspective, it is essential for young people to have the ability to plan and organize as early as possible.
Firstly, the competition in our society is getting fiercer day by day, if we still hesitate to outline a detailed blueprint for our future career and life, we will not be able to keep a foothold for ourselves in the modern world. As is known to all, China is a populous nation which holds large number of versatile talents, but the position in our society is so limited that superfluous human resources and cheap labor force are prevailing, which lead to a more and more competitive job market. For example, it is estimated that about 450 candidates competed for only one post in the National Civil Services Examination. Since it is so, if the youths are not excellent enough to distinguish themselves from other competitors, they are doomed to be trapped in a condition that is easily for them to get lost.
Secondly, only through the deliberate programming for our future career and life, can we be outstanding among thousands of elites and surpass ourselves. In the process of carrying out a feasible, suitable plan whether it is for long-term running or temporary control, we can discover our own disadvantage and advantage through careful analyzing and comparison. What am I really interested in? What fits me most? What can you do? What supports you? What is the largest cost I can afford if I make such choice? Your answers to such questions may be varied the whole life, but you can certainly get a favorable progress by giving full play to your strong points and avoid your shortcomings. Then some day you can find yourselves full of confident to face the competitive world and fulfill the accomplishment.
Thirdly, we will enjoy a sound life both in body and mind by elaborating a layout for our future. It is sorrowful, pitiful and educative for us to be informed that frequent suicide events in today’s college campus. What is the blaster fuse of so many tragedies? With the exception of some relative accountable reasons, the most in common contribution is that all of them feared to face the heavy pressure in their life and dared not to undertake the burden duty and obligation. So if you are still perplexed by the question such as “ to be or not to be”, why not just pull out of a pen as soon as possible to draw out a comparison between your disadvantages and advantages, your benefits and costs if you make such a choice, then make a detailed plan which are in favor of you, one-day plan, one-month plan, a semester plan and the whole life’s goal, if you accomplish the plan day by day, eventually when you turn around you will astonish yourselves by such a colorful and fruitful life with walking through a road which you once thought to be full of thorns.
As the saying goes “we can walk forward as far as the thought does”, so if you want to shape into mighty and heroic lion from a little thin and weak lion, just elaborate your blueprint from the scratch. To adapt to the more and more complicated and competitive modern world, the top priority task for the youths is learning the ability of planning and organizing as early as possible.
