The reading passage claims that some evidence show that dinosaurs were endotherms.  However, the statement is strongly questioned by the lecture which provides drastically evidences and argues that dinosaurs were not endotherms.

First of all, the professor points out that the temperature was not as low as what it is today. In this case, dinosaurs can live in polar areas during a warm period. Otherwise, they can migrate to some warmer places if the climate tended to be colder. Therefore, dinosaurs were not tndotherms.

Second, the woman maintains that leg position and movement can not prove the dinosaurs were endotherms either. The reason why they had legs underneath the body is that their giant bodies can be supported by this way. It is obvious that the large size of their bodies can benefit them in numerous ways. Their leg position and movement can not prove they were endotherms.

Finally, the professor states that although they had haversian canals, its population did not grow quickly and constantly. Evidence showed by growth rings indicates that the population of dinosaurs may stop in growing or had a slow rate of growth in one period and then gained a rapid growth in other period. This is not matched with the typical characteristic of endothermy that is they would grow rapidly even in a cold environment.

In conclusion, the contents of the reading passage are disputed by the speaker and the speaker has totally different ideas on the topic made in the reading.

The reading passage raises the claims that the Chaco structures were used as residential habitat, food supplies store and ceremonial centers. However, the ideas were strongly questioned by the lecture which provides evidence that the three theories are not true.

First, the professor points out that there were many apartment buildings for the Native Americans, but they can not be proved to use as resident. For example, if one hundred people lived in the great houses there should be many fire place so that they could prepare daily meals. Unfortunately , few fire places are founded in those houses, even n the largest house, around ten fire places are discovered. Moreover, not enough rooms can accommodate such great number of people.

Second, the professor states that the Chaco structures were utilized to store food supplies can not be proved either. As there were no traces and containers using to store foods can be discovered. In addition, if they were used as the food garner, why would so many crops on the floor ?

Finally, the woman mentions that the mound in Pueblo Alto were a trash heap. As other constructing materials were also found such as sands, stones ,and constructing tools . Also, the constructing tools were threw on the floors when they were not for using .Besides, the pots were discarded after the constructors finished their meals. Therefore , the Chaco houses were used as ceremonial centers can not be demonstrated.

In conclusion, the contents of the reading passage are disputed by the speaker and the speaker has totally different ideas on the topic made in the reading.

Have you ever been asked a question that when you face hardships and difficulties and you seek for some advice, who will you turn (to) for help ? It is no doubt that some people may ask the older people for suggestion,(这里缺一个连词) from my perspective, seeking advice from older people is feasible.& Q) q5 l8 E) b. |  z4 n6 f: {

Admittedly, older people are more sophisticated and have more valuable experience in solving certain problems. They could once face the same difficulties as what we currently encounter, in this case, they could understand the plight we are facing and offer useful advice. Take my personal experience for example , when I was in high school , my study pressure became so high that I could not handle. Hopefully, my mother discovering that and told不能这样并列,前边是ing,后边是动词 me how she coped with the same problem as well as gave me encouragement. Finally , I made progress and achieved my goals. In this case , the usefulness of advice come from older people can never be exaggerated.
1 K  f$ R7 d6 X; G/ \* ?
Generally speaking ,older people could be more patient in giving advice to others. Of course, they are kind-hearted and they would not be annoyed by some questions which are regarded meaningless by youngster. They would listen carefully on your problems and analysis the difficulties thoroughly. Only after their deep thought on effective measures to solve the problems will they give you the suggestion. In this circumstance, receiving advice from older people is a wise choice that we could not deny.5 \' _8 ~3 e, W  b4 V: }

However 你表达的应该是一种递进的关系,上文讲了从older people得到的好处,下文要说从年轻人那得到建议的坏处,而并非转折, disadvantages of asking advice from the people who are at the same age with us are obvious. Because of their young age and the lack of long-term vision, they may give us some erroneous guidance. Just imagine that you have hesitation on whether to leave the company for another one or not, then one of your peer tells you that you should resign the current position and for a better one这里动词和介词依然不能并列 and you take his or her advice. Unfortunately, you can not find an ideal position even a job after you left the previous corporation. How can we trust our peers’ advice and follow their instructions?' R8 v& g6 t" P* q: Z

On day, if some one interview me again on the question that who would I turn for help when I face problems, I would say “the older people”. Because of their rich experience and patience, their suggestion are of great value to me .

前两段的点抓得不太好,有两处刚好都听反了,可能对于isn’t或者aren’t这种否定表达听得不是很清楚。其他都还不错,第三段比我听的全加油啦!

The reading passage claims the idea that printed encyclopedias are far more better than communal online encyclopedias. However, the idea is strongly questioned by the lecture.

First, the professor points out the fact that errors can not be avoided and even the traditional encyclopedias have some errors. However, errors can easily be corrected when compared to traditional encyclopedias. Since traditional encyclopedias may last for a long time. This strongly against what the reading says.

Second, the woman maintains the idea that the importance of protecting the information in the encyclopedias from being misused is being recognized. Moreover, some effective measures have been taken to cope with the problems. For instance, a read-only format have been using to protect the crucial faces and in this way, no one can change the original information. Besides, some special editors are employed to reduce the risk of the online encyclopedias from being misused.

Finally, the lecture states the evidence that there were limit space for traditional encyclopedias to provide different views on some topics. Also, the writer of rational encyclopedias should make decisions on which are important to write and which are not . However, there are sufficient spaces for the online encyclopedias and these give the chance for the online encyclopedias to develop various topics which the public are interested in. After all, it is one of the strongest advantages of the online encyclopedias.

As the society become more and more modernized, some people could raise the claim that past people are more friendly than current people. Is that true? From my perspective, I assume that people nowadays are friendly as they were many years ago.

We could discover facts in history books that past people are kindly and warm-hearted. Although they lived in a resource-insufficient society, they were generous to denote their goods and assistances rather than being self-fish. For instance, once there was a serious famine in the rural area in western China. At that time many people in china were in the lack of food either, however, according to a report, almost 80% people denoted their grains, foods as well as money to the poor people in western China. The past people were so friendly and generous so that they can be praised and they were a good model for the current people even after many years.

It is no denying that contemporary people are as friendly as past people. I believe that many of us have had received assistances from other people who are our friends, families and even strangers. When you forgot to bring your umbrella in a rainy day, someone may give his or her umbrella to you. When you lost a dog, some people may help you in finding it in many ways such as sending the posters, calling the police office. Even when you were in a bad health and you did not have enough money, after the information was known by others, many people would denote their money and send their best wishes to you. Therefore, current people are indeed friendly and helpful.

Current people’s kindness is not limited in their own nation, instead, it can be seen beyond the country border. An serious earthquake took place in China in 2008, many other countries’ people donated their money, clothes, foods as well as gave their encouragement to the victims. This phenomenon can also be seen in many situations. When a country is in trouble, many other countries will give their help as soon as possible, regardless of the different nationalities. To a extent, current people are more friendly than past people.

Human civilization has evolved in a great speed and has gained many successes. In this circumstance, people are becoming more and more friendly with others so that our lives can be  more convenient and harmony than the past.

The lecture discusses the disadvantages of the fuel-cell engines which differ from the main ideas in the reading that fuel-cell engines are more superior to the internal-combustion engines.

The professor makes the point that hydrogen cannot be easily available and practical. Although they are common in water, they need to be purified in a complicate progress. Also, the liquid substance is artificial and it requires sophisticate technology, besides, it is extremely cold and it is difficult to protect or store. The reading, in contrast, holds the ideas that hydrogen could be obtained easily.

Another important point shows in the listening material is that fuel-cell engines cannot solve the pollution problems of the cars. When the fuel-cell engines are being manufactured, they can cause a lot of pollution by burring coals and oils and this could pollute the environment. However, the reading presents a conflicting idea that fuel-cell engines are good to the environment as they have no harmful byproduct.

Finally, the professor states the views that fuel-engines are not as economical as the reading says. Platinum must be used to the fuel-cell engines so that the cars can be stared. However, these components of the fuel-engines are expensive. Besides, no cheap components of successful fuel-cell engines which are related to economical are being reported so far. The statement challenges the standpoint makes by the writer who says that fuel-cell engines are more efficient and more economical when compared to the internal-combustion engines.
