If i have to make a decision between a low-paying job with a long vacation and a high-paying job with short vacation, I will definitely choose the former one. Imagine you have made enough money, but you cannot have spare time to spend with your family and even in a bad health, how would you say you prefer the latter one?


The most significant function the long vacation can offer us is that we can relieve our great pressure. The beautiful scenery can drag us out from the great burden. Take my personal experience for example, when I was in junior 3, my study pressure became very high and my parents took me to Sanya , which is a tranquil city with beautiful scenery. The fresh air made me feel revived and I can spend a whole day just listening the songs from the birds and fishing with my family. After the 7 days trip, I felt energetic and I can concentrate on my study. Thanks to the long vacation , we can relieve the pressure and make full preparation for the future work.



In addition, a long vacation gives us a good opportunity to spend the time with our families. The fierce competition force us to work day and night .During the long vacation , we can enjoy the harmonious atmosphere with our families as well as have a heart to heart conversation with them to know each other much better. Besides, the reason why we work so hard is just that we hope to support our families and give them a wonderful life. However, without the time spend with the families , no matter how much money we earn ,they just worth nothing.


Last but not least , having a job with long vacation can make people healthier. A long-time working has adverse impact on our body .It is a common phenomenon that nowadays the "white collar" easily suffer much serious disaster such as high blood pressure , heart disaster and so on. According to a survey done by WHO, nearly 82% of the respondents say that they will be more energetic after having a vacation to relax themselves. Obviously,
it is of great importance for us to have a vacation to get out of the tense work.

A job with high salary allow us to purchase anything that we can afford. But for me , a job with longer vacation outweigh the job with high salary. After having a long vacation, we can feel more energetic ,strengthen our family tie and have a healthy condition.

For instance, they may spend much more time to seek effective methods to educate their students. Besides, they would not only aid the students in academic fields, but also offer them some help mentally. In this way, teaches with higher salaries will improve the education quality.
   Although a higher salary a teacher receives can contribute a lot to the quality of education , it is not the best way. My suggestions for dealing the problems as follows.
   Firstly, the school should shoulder the responsibility of improving the quality of education. For instance, much more money should be spent on purchasing advanced technology such as distance education, newly published books and so on. Moreover, a strict school rule should be established in order to monitor the teachers’ behaviors. Therefore, the key role a school makes should not to be neglected.
   Secondly, as students we should concentrate on our studies and make every effort to achieve a high score. Good preparation should be made before the classes and during the lessons we should listen carefully and take notes . What’s more , we should be initiative in discussing questions with teachers so that we could have a great progress in our studies.
   Increasing the teacher’s salaries is a good approach to improve the quality of education, but the optional one should be the joint efforts made by both schools and students themselves. Only in this way can the quality of education gain a significant improvement.

    Depending on personal experience, personality type and emotional concern, we find that some people hold the idea of future career relate more to other people while others claim that study hard at school contributes more to future career. From my perspective, it is more advisable to advocate the latter. My arguments for this point are listed as follows.
        
    Hard-working at school can enable student to gain an ideal job and promotion. By studying hard ,students can not only gain book knowledge relating to their major but also acquire various skills that may assist them in the future career. For instance, communication skills can be used when doing business with their partners, written skills may help them in writing proposals and managerial skills is of great importance when organizing and supervising. Therefore, students should concentrate on their studies and try every effort to get a high score.
      
     Hard-working is an essential characteristic as well as a significant criteria whether one could be employed or even be promoted. According to a survey , almost every boss and manager thinks it is necessary that an employee should be perseverance and hard-working. Apparently, if one desires to have a bright future career, he/she should realize the importance of hard-working and take actions when they study at school.

    Admittedly, a good relationship with other people can benefit one’s future career to some extend. For example, most people nowadays establish mutual benefit relationships with their friends in order to get some help from others when they confront difficulties in their work. Therefore, one should not look down on others and should broaden his/her social network.
      
    Having good relationships with others is a wise choice and it can bring benefit to one’s career. However, the advantages of working hard at school carry more weight than those of being related well with others. I believe it is sensible to try our best at school so that it can contribute a lot to our future career.

3.3  综合
The reading passage raise the claims that the cane toad in Central and South America can reproduce quickly, and the small native animals may undertake a great risk of it. Based on this situation, three measures have been put forward to solve this problem. However, the measures are strongly questioned by the lecture which provides drastically evidences and argues that the measures can to stop the situation.

The professor begins by pointing out that to establish a national fence can not stop the toad from spreading. That is because the toads usually habitat in the river and streams, because of the flowing water they will be conveyed to another side. Still, the young toads and eggs can go pass the fence, and this may bring about the damage in another side. This evidence disagrees with the standpoint that a national fence could be a effective measure to cope with the problem.

Second, the professor maintain that if we employ the untrained volunteers to capture the toads it may cause damage to the environment .Besides, the unexpected influence may occur on other native flocks and they may live in a dangerous situation. Therefore, the lecture goes against what is presented in the reading passage.

Finally, the professor states that a special-designed virus could have a negative outcome on the region as well as in south America. The reptile and amphibian with virus can transport to south America. Once they reach the destination , the native cane toads, which are an essential part of America could be infected and its population in this area could be reduced .What is worse, the ecosystem would not be balanced any more. This directly contradicts what the passage indicates.

In conclusion, the contents of the reading passage are disputed by the speaker and the speaker has totally different ideas on the topic made in the reading.

   It is undeniable that young people have strong desire to get good jobs. In order to achieve their goals, most of them will do various job before they know which job is of great value to them. Afer realizing that, they will make final decision to choose a long term job.

   It is an essential part for young people to know which kind of job is suitable for them. Interest is a guarantee for a long term job. Take my personal experience as an example, it is not until I have tried three kinds of job do I make the final decision as a shop assistance. By doing various job, I find I have talent in persuading people in buying goods. It is a typical characteristic of a salesclerk. Until now, I really do a good job in my field. Therefore, trying different job can help young people discover their suitable job property.

   Having experience in doing different kinds of job can broaden young people's horizon and enhance their working abilities. Nowadays, anyone who wants to be a successful person in one field should master various skills. For instance, it is advisable for a person who desires to be a expert in computer realm with working experience not only in a computer corporation but also as a teacher in computer science courses. Only in this way, can he or she grasps the ability in how to manipulate a corporation well and passes on the knowledge to the students.

   Last but not least, it is a good opportunity for young people to meet different kinds of people who are prominent. Having different kinds working experience means one could have touch with all kind of people. What's more, one could even wide his or her social circle. For example, a person worked in a hospital could make acquaintance with well-know doctors as well as eminent nurses. How could we lose such a wonderful chance which may of significant help in our future career?

   In conclusion, trying multiple jobs could help young people in find a suitable job, enhancing their working abilities and widening their social network. So, why not have a try?

The reading passage raises the claim that  an increasing number of human population and the misuse of pesticide will lead to a decrease in the population of birds. However, the conclusion is strongly deny by the lecture which provides evidences that the number of birds is indeed increasing.

The professor begins by pointing out that although there was a negative situation for birds to live in , nowadays it has become an ideal habitat. Besides, it is a common phenomenon that we can discover some kinds of birds in the city. Therefore, the number of birds is gaining an increase.

Second, the professor maintain that there is an obvious decline in using the land for the purpose of agriculture. In addition , some new productive crops are being planted which can will be more productive and will not do harm to the rural areas.

Finally, the professor states that it is no longer using the tradition pesticides. Two breakthrough have been taken place in the using of pesticides. For one thing, a new and less poison pesticide is being invented .For another, pest resistance crops are gaining more and more popularity. These two methods could ensure the population of birds in an increase.

In conclusion, the contents of the reading passage are disputed by the speaker and the speaker has totally different ideas on the topic made in the reading.
