快考试了，tpo19的阅读做的惨不忍睹，错了十几个啊……记录啊……下面是几个不清楚的问题~
第一篇 The Roman Army's Impact on Britain   第八题
paragraph 3Each soldier received his pay, but in regions without a developed economy there was initially little on which it could be spent. The pool of excess cash rapidly stimulated a thriving economy outside fort gates. Some of the demand for the services and goods was no doubt fulfilled by people drawn from far afield, but some local people certainly became entwined in this new economy. 我也错了这题。
第一篇，b, 可能是who visited the forts 不太对吧，文章说fulfilled by people drawn from far afield，没有明确是进了fort 还是没进fort, 我的理解是 吧people从far afield 吸引到了 附近，形成了small town nearby 。我是这样理解的~

So I choose the answer C.

感觉这两道题出的的确不太好，第一题我之所以没有选择Most of their needs were met by traveling tradespeople who visited the forts，有两个原因：
1.原文说的是some of，而这个选项说的是most of，说多了。
2.原文说的是drawn from far afield，从远处吸引而来，而visit给人的感觉是这些商人还会走。
而选项They bought what they needed from the artisans and traders in nearby towns则要稍微好一些，说他们从就近城市的artisans和traders哪里买他们所需，说的比较笼统。

第二题我也做错了，但现在回过头来仔细分析，原文问的是critism，而选项More evidence is needed to establish Clements' prediction about succession说的比较中性，有点像有待观察的感觉，批判力度没有The details of succession are affected be random process强。
