The best way to improve the quality of education is to increase teachers' salaries”

Among all kinds of jobs, a teacher always owns a relatively low salary, which has a less positive effect on the quality on the education. If only the salaries of the teachers are increased, the situation of the less effective education may be better.

The higher salaries, the more cruel competition. If only the salaries of teachers are higher, then the undergraduates who decide to devote themselves in the education may be more, therefore , the undergraduates would make more preparation for the exams ,which may lead to the higher level of the group of the teachers. Our pupil may be taught by the graduates from Beijing Normal University, while our high school students may be crowded by the elites from Beijing University. I do think the development in the level of group of teachers ensure the improvement of educational quality.

Less salaries may stimulate the teachers put their energy and wisdom in some fields other than the education. For instance, one excellent teacher in my high school could not own a desirable salaries for his family, thus then he opened a bookstore and owned a lot, he become a rather successful bookstore seller while a irresponsible teacher. I find more teacher like these in my university, they are of great responsibility and everyday they hurried to school after the working for some construction all night. We all respect them while they are really in badly need for relaxation. If only they could own enough money from the teaching, they don’t have to do so heavy work and they will be more energetic and positive in the class, and they can give more commissions and advice.
