小弟即将毕业于谢大景观系,University of Sheffield, Department of Landscape, MA in LandscapeArchitecture (2 Years Course)
最近正好参加了LandscapeInstitute在谢大景观系的学生会谈,还有Dr. Anna Jorgensen针对谢大景观系国际学生的研究课题,想说说大家很
感兴趣的几个热门话题。
以下纯属个人感受,不牵涉学校,也不针对某些人,完全属于晚上睡不着,发发感想。
1.“中国人很多!”
这个话题,我觉得需要这么理解。谢大景观系有2个比较热门的研究生的课程受到中国学生的欢迎,一是MA in Landscape Architecture(2年课
程,第一年简称MA1,第二年简称MA2), 另一个是MA in LandscapeStudies(1年课程,简称MLS)。
2.“一年的课程太简单”
需要说明的是,因为MLS课程是基于BasicLevel,如果你本科是景观相关专业,你很有可能觉得这些太基础,不像研究生课程,更像本科课程。
在学生网页上的介绍大致如下
Providing a broad academic and practical understanding of landscapedesign, landscape planning and landscape management.
The course does notprovide professional accreditation, but it is entirely compatible with thefirst year of the MA in Landscape
Architecture。
不过MLS有一些课程对中国学生来说还是比较新鲜的,比如说:Ecological Design and Management ,Social Aspects,
Planning atLandscape scale,还有Planting Design(虽然是植物设计,但是和国内不太一样)。
