The newest editon is 6th. In China, the 4th can be got everywhere.
In English-Country, this dic is used by every ESL School and teacher.

2 Longman of contemporary dictionary 4th is very good one for all English users.

3 Oxford dictionary 3 (2CD) only is used by English Teachers and Researchers, because it can give you lots of information about the word you are looking up.
But it's is not good for Students because it would cost your so much time.

4 If you want to take the TOEFL,GRE and GMAT tests, you need use Webster Dictionary. But it's no good for Enlish learners who have known only 5000-10,000 words.
