The most effective way to understand contemporary culture is to analyze the trends of its youth.
这是第一次写!好痛苦!
To find the effective way to know what the culture a certain nation possesses is a complicated procedure, it is far from easy to identify it by just observing its youth because the conception of contemporary culture is a complex which can not be represented solely by the youth of a society.
The first step is to identify what a culture is. Of course, it includes some aspects we can find among teenagers and youth,.For example, the desire for a brandnew lifestyle among youth indicates that the society is undergoing a profound reform and transformation, the trend to establish their career far away from their hometowns shows a increasing open society where people are more and more independent from the old generation. However, the other parts of culture cannot be recognized just study the youth group because the culture of a society should also embrace the additional groups of a community and the values a nation holdare too abundant to be represented by youth. In that case , I remain
partly agree with what the speaker claims above.
I commit that, through careful observation about youth, we can dig out many interesting and symbolic matters of contemporary culture. For example, due to the fast economic development and sound social welfare system,
many citizens are now lead a well-off life, a considerable number of young people possess advanced electric products such as iPhone, digital cameras. The common scene is during the rush hour in the morning, there are so many young office ladies, waiting for a subway, have their eyes glued to the screen of an Ipad. The desire for an advanced technolodge innovation indicates that the willingness to accept new things in the society, which is a unique culture pgenomenon distinguishing the modern society from the ancient one.
However, If we were focused our attention on sololy studying the trends prevails among youth, we would fail to persive the overall culture in modern time. To find supportive evidence a person would go no further than taking a glance at the field of politics, experts and critics, no matter how unsatisfied with the current administrative and legal system, share the belief that people are growing concerned with the political issues such as human inequality and territory, not to mention the global warming crisis. Paradoxically, however, the political concerns among youth are not as popular as the overall society. An study conducted by a professional organization indicates the overspread indifference attitude youth hold toward politics. This example is used to point out the inaduaquatiness to study the political aspect of a society for the youth do not reflect this culture accurately.
