The most important national holiday in your country

There is no doubt that the most important national holiday in China is the Spring Festival when all the family members get together, sharing the achievements or good memories in the past year, enjoying tasty feast and the precious time spent with family.

With the history dates back to thousands of years ago, Spring Festival plays a vital part in Chinese culture that underscore the importance of family union and the sense of belonging. It is probably the only festival for every Chinese people to go back their parents' home no matter where they are during the seven-day holiday. Every year, my parents will take me back to my grandparent's home to spend Spring Festival though unlike some of my uncles and aunts, we live much further away. I do enjoy the warmth of this big family's union, because I can spend more time with my grandparents, meet some distant relatives, get connect with their lives, share with them what I've learnt during the year. There is no other place on this planet that can compete with a cozy home, filled with happiness and warmth. In the current crucial financial circumstance, few of people have much time to stay with their families while most are busy increasing incomes and cutting off debts. However, nothing can stop us from slowing down and going back to the warm hugs from family members at the Spring Festival, which is also what our ancestors valued most.

Spring Festival often falls in January or February, representing the start of a lunar year, which means it is not only a time for people to cast mind back to the past year but also an opportunity to envisage the future. Everyone has new plans for a new year: losing a few pounds, get start to learning a new language or stick on to the old good habits all sounds great. It is the Spring Festival than offers every Chinese a golden time to forget a myriad of annoying affairs yet to ask ourselves what do you really want, who do you want to become. If you know the answer, then make a specific plan and realize it. At the next Spring Festival , you will give yourself a big surprise.

Despite the cultural and social factors, Spring Festival is definitely the biggest yet for some people, the busiest festival throughout the year because Chinese people spend millions of dollars on shopping and eating each year during this time. Restaurants, shopping malls, barber shops and cinemas are always lining during the whole Spring Festival period, which often lasts for three or four weeks. Businessmen regard it as the most lucrative time in a year.

From some western medias' perspectives, Chinese people are always busy making money, even in spite of the costs sometimes. I concede that living in such a fast-developing developing country is never gonna be easy since most of us are experiencing extensive competition every day, thus we tend to work harder and harder. But thanks to the Spring Festival, we have a particular time to accompany our dearest ones, enjoy our lives and look into the future.

With the history dates back to thousands of years ago (Thousands of years ago), (add "the" here) Spring Festival plays a vital part (role) in Chinese culture that underscore the importance of family union and the sense of belonging. It is probably the only festival for every Chinese people (delete "people) to go back (to) their parents' home no matter where they are during the seven-day holiday. Every year (During every Sping Festival), my parents will (delete "will") take me back to my grandparent's home to spend Spring Festival (delete "spend spring festival") though unlike some of my uncles and aunts, we live much further away (The sentence is toooooo long! It is obvious that you have used too many long sentences). I do enjoy the warmth of this big family's union (family reuion), because I can spend more time with my grandparents, meet some distant relatives, get connect with their lives (redudant), (and) share with them what I've learnt during the year. There is no other place on this planet that can compete with a cozy home, filled with happiness and warmth. In the current crucial financial circumstance, few of (delete "of") people have much time to stay with their families while most are busy increasing incomes and cutting off debts. However, nothing can stop us from slowing down and going back to the warm hugs from family members at the Spring Festival, which is also what our ancestors valued most.$ H7 Z& O6 C. V5 t6 X- K" F' w
