One of the most important target of work is to acquire more salary, so some people think compare with increase vacation, a high payment is more attractive. Some others do not think so, as they think the final aim of hard work is to gain enough money to enjoy a happy life, so more vocation is a better choice. I agree with the second group.

With more vacation, people have more private time to management, they can do what they like and they can have more time with their family, friend, they can take more time on their hobby. Although with less salary, they may be constrained to consume some expensive item, satisfied the psychological need is more important. Already thousands examples approved that people live only aimed to gain more money can never really happy, this kind of life is a tragedy. So spend too much time on a process which originally aimed to provide a foundation to achieve a better live is obviously not wisdom. Perhaps somebody claim that they enjoy work itself, it is their hobby, but ub this view either the salary is high or not is not important, they are enjoying their enjoyment, this is not what we are talking about.

Additionally, with more vacation, the time spend on the work decreased, if the employee want to earn more money to satisfy the demand of their live or seeking higher quality of life, they must be more efficiently, so the effective rate will increase. In another perspective, with more vacation, company should engage more employees to finish fixed amount of work, government could improve the employment rate greatly.

In conclusion, with more vacation, people could enjoy a happier life and have more time to manage by themselves. The company could engage workers with higher effective rate. The government also can release their pressure of the unemployed rate. It is definitely a good choice to provide jobs with more vacation than higher salary.

Some people have ambitious dreams and keep following them, but other people always focus on realistic goals and try to achieve them. Which do you think is better?

The ambitious dream is consist of thousands realistic goals -- some people who focus on details and try to achieve realistic goals think so. I can not agree with it more.

Firstly one question should be discussed is what is success? People who have no ambitions think work carefully, do something contribute to the city and own a happy family is success, others think achieve the goal no one ort few can complete ¬is a truly success. In the perspective of the former group, no ambitious dreams need to realize, so what only need to do is work by heart to achieve realistic goal, and to the latter group hard work is the way to the terminal, only have a map but no practical action can never seize the dream.

Another definition people should figure out is that to achieve the realistic goals does not mean undistinguished work, and dreams is not always beautiful at the same time. Nobody can achieve succeed without careful plan and hard work, the best dream finally will down to the earth. Steven Jobs is not successful when he is young, and obviously millions Jobs have the same dream but finally only one found a company named Apple. It is hard work step by step make him stand in Silicon Valley’s sharp pyramid. Everyone knows well his success but few care about his daily life: 25years ago when he is fired by the company once he established, already he is a billionaire, the ambitious dream already realized. The energy support him came back and save Apple from death to the second glory is carefully plan and baldness work to achieve small goals one by one.

Additionally, it can be abstracted a ambitious dream is a further plan, and the realistic goal is a short-term one, the environment to achieve the further plan is changing every time and the short-term plan is the foundation to step on the stairs to reach the terminal. Focus on realistic goals, even the condition changed, people have groundwork to rely on and adjust the way to go on, this is the right method to achieve ambitious dream.


In conclusion, ambitious always produce great man, but never a great man has only dreams. Ability of focus on realistic issues to finish short-term goal is no doubt very important. Just as the Chinese premier Wen said,"Looking at the stars with your feet on the ground."
