有关自己计算gpa并找学校公证

我们学校的成绩单是没有GPA的，所以我只能自己算再找学校公证，TUE的申请要求是这样的：
You may also calculate the GPA yourself and ask the institution to verify this (with a signature and official stamp). Your GPA should be calculated by adding together all of the grades from your entire Bachelor’s program and dividing this total by the number of grades.
意思是把每科分数加起来再除以科目数吗？
我可不可以自己算（如果按照加权算，成绩高一点）再注明算法呢？

老外是A,B,C打分制的，和国内的100分制不一样。你自己算吧。然后让学校盖个章就行了。
